In March this year, Tabby and I did something amazing - we went seal snorkeling in Hout Bay near Cape Town. We were staying at the incredible Tintswalo Atlantic Hotel just outside Hout Bay for four nights and, for most of the time, we just chilled in the hotel... We slept, ate, read, ate some more, and enjoyed the private beach right in front. The view from Tintswalo Atlantic over Hout Bay is AMAZING!
We also braved the icy waters and went for a swim in the sea. I even swam out to a pod of Heaviside's dolphins one morning. Don't try this if you're a weak swimmer or if there are no lifeguards on duty.
The highlight of our stay at Tintswalo Atlantic was a visit to Animal Ocean Seal Snorkeling in Hout Bay. They are one of the best seal snorkeling operators in Hout Bay and took us out on a boat to Duiker Island where over 5000 Cape fur seals live. For about an hour we were snorkeling with seals in stunning clear waters, having the time of our lives!

Hi Villiers, sorry for a comment unrelated to the video. I have just bought the canon EF 100-400mm mark two lens and will be doing two self-drive Kruger trips this year. Do you think it's necessary to buy a bean bag for the car door for stability for this lens or would it actually hinder the photography by getting in the way of using the focus ring? Is hand-held from a vehicle fine with the lens? Many thanks.

Hi Daniel. No worries 😁 I typically take photos out of hand with my 100-500, but a big beanbag is very handy for 1) video and 2) very low light photos. I’d get one if I were you 😉 The best is the big black molar bags (U-shaped)
