    Every time the British Royals arrive somewhere, they should play this really loud.

    • @fredvan6043
      @fredvan6043 Рік тому +4

      Why? I don't have any sympathy for the British royals, but it's not that they invented slavery... Slavery has existed on all continents (also long before colonization started), and while it's been abolished in the West over 150 years ago, it still continues to exist in some parts of the world (for instance in India, but also in Africa)... So I think there's other occasions where it might be even more fit to play this song really loud! 👍

    • @christomaya5516
      @christomaya5516 10 місяців тому +1

      He was far better then Bob, even Bob Knowledge it. It's just Spear didn't make Comercial music. His primery focus was conceiousness

    • @fredvan6043
      @fredvan6043 10 місяців тому

      @@christomaya5516 "Conscious" music does not necessarily mean "better" music. Anyway, very much of Marley's music was - though being commercially successful (with is not the same as "commercial", by the way) - also about spiritual and political consciousness, but it was never limited to JUST that indeed, which made him a more versatile songwriter, taking on a much broader variety of themes, moods and styles. I think it's ridiculous to state one is "better" than the other, but fact is that Marley had a much wider appeal and, more than any other Jamaican artist, was able to blend his reggae into the pop mainstream without losing its roots, its originality or its credibility (while on the other hand, in the late 1980's Spear also made a few 'slicker' sounding albums too...). Whatever: I'm just a big fan of both! 😃

    Thanks for the upload!.. (THE NOSTALGIA IS STRONG) never gets old brings me back to my youth days when life on this planet was sane/normal.. these days its always doom an gloom one thing I learnt from a young age is to surround yourself with the ones you love most an people that always bring you out of a negative mindset or situation which is very little these days lol.. respect has been pushed to one side whilst the disrespectful who lack in self respect an common sense think life evolves around them.. well haha it does not and will keep getting worse until they wake up but its already too late for that.. my personal opinion is that since this technology has improved etc it has made us more reliable on what we see on social media sites also not to forget the Wi-Fi too.. we can't keep relying on technology forever because one-day the internet can stop working an will seriously damage the global economy!
