This guy said he was from Conway, AR. I was in the Navy with a white dude from Conway. He was hands down the most racist person I've met to this day. This was in 2001-2005. I could not imagine what Mr. Monson experienced there 40-50 years ago.

Hell of an interview fellas! Shat! CT see u champ. Man! I was stuck! Craig is a superstar for sure. And a grounded individual. The guy on the right of him, didn't say anything the whole video and I saw that he was looking every now and then for something from em. So at the end of the video he had to put his hand on. His shoulder to try to get something out of em, but still nothing lol bro cut up . But Big Craig is one of a kind man. I've reached out to Craig and he actually got back with real advice. " Do what work for your body " . I'm 40 yrs old. My uncle's and pops and cuzzns know Unk. John Seals is my family . I appreciate the history 100%

I met Craig Monson in Paris at Serge Nubret’s gym in … 1984 maybe 1985. At the time there was a group of American bodybuilders John Brown, Jeff King, Jeff Primm, and the huge Craig Monson. I was a regular at Nubret’s gym. I watched this guy train and he was incredibly strong.
He was preparing for Wabba World in Geneva, Switzerland.
I remember that the changing rooms were downstairs and Craig was posing in front of the wide mirror above two sinks, he completely blacked out the mirror. I spoke to Craig, he was a very nice guy. He said he was a hairdresser ! He also said that he preferred turkey fillets cut into cubes mixed with hot water seasoned and mixed in a blender. A turkey smoothie !
His handshake was something you never forget. . . RIP Craig and thanks for being a decent guy
FACTS Craig had huge arms cut, maybe 22.5 inch cut and veins everywhere. He did not only skull crushers with 140-150kg he did seated behind the neck 130-140kg triceps for 8 reps easy. This dude was a beast, a nice guy, and the hugest bodybuilder i ever did see.

    Louisiana
    Arkansas
    Mississippi
    Oklahoma
    Texas
This is especially true if your family loaded up them Pontiacs, Fords etc and went West. Those "Green Book" travels, where our Grandaddy's, uncles etc had to have .38s and Shotguns in the car.
