    Keen to hear which of those topics I mentioned in the video everyone would most like to learn more about!

      All of them! Can't wait to for future videos. Super interesting and something I've always wanted to learn more about. Laughed when you started talking at the start...I knew that's a South African accent haha. Capetonian living next door to you in Hainan 😁

      LIke Alex mentioned above, all of them! haha. The biggest myth for me are the CST process and preparing deliverables for different outputs. Excited to learn from you!

      Would love to know more on analyzing films/commercials and how to get more or less a similar look to it and how to breakdown an image

    Really valuable video - was a freelance photographer and videographer that got brough in house for a brand. Stepping into the realm of coloring - content like this really helps build confidence!

    Shooting a colour checker on a film stock and scanning it to match the look has absolutely blown my mind. How have I not come across this before is utterly beyond me

      Keep in mind, profiling practices decide the accuracy of final look. Do read about profiling methods and practices to make well informed decisions when building film emulations 🙌

    if working in acescct color managed environment , do we need aces transform though ?

    • @Color.Mentor
      @Color.Mentor 2 місяці тому +1

      If you are getting aces exr’s from visual effects then you’ll need to color manage them into davinci wide gamut first.

    • @Color.Mentor
      @Color.Mentor 2 місяці тому

      Yes, using the aces transform.

    what sits where in pipeline , 1 project setting colour management 2 pre-clip nodes 3 clip nodes 4 post-clip nodes and 5 timeline clips

    • @Color.Mentor
      @Color.Mentor 2 місяці тому

      I think the next video needs to cover color management. Firstly you need to decide whether you want to do node based or project wide color managment.

    And I bought a license, but I didn't receive the update. I didn't receive any messages by email either. I've been waiting for these updates for a long time, but there is no download button in my account now. What should I do?

      Would love too see a premiere and resolve round trip (on Mac) because premiere auto encodes and displays the bt1886 curve at 1.96 gamma so I'm curious how folks deal with the "back through Adobe" pipeline. Cheers! Your plugin is incredible btw. @@ColoristFoundry
