Thanks for the review. How is the skin painted on below her neck compared to her neck and head sculpt? I had seen some shots where it looks like the colors don’t match very well at all. I hope that’s not the case. 🤞
👍🏽💯👍🏽 Awesome review Bruh! Hasbro has got to fix their QC issues within the line. Then again, I’m sure they really don’t give an ish’ about the consumer and the actual product being bought. If they did, these figs would be mint or damn near mint upon opening. Losing faith with this line. Nostalgia can only be held for so long.
Since Cover Girl is one of my favorite GI Joe character, I had to buy this. Other than the head sculpt, I'm pretty happy with the rest of the figure itself.
Dope review Bobby. It's weird because in the cartoon, (though they weren't in a full on relatiobship,) C.G. and Duke were more intimate with each other than Duke and Scarlett were. Cover Girl's face scuplt is cool, but in the digital render she was much more prettier in the face. Say, Bobby do you think they'll release the Wolverine and Water Moccasin separately at retail?
I think the Water Moccasin is in the realm where it could be a pricey fan channel exclusive if it's even made. I think the Wolverine might be a bit too big and would be either a Haslab or not made at all
I have this figure, I missed out on her initial release since she was a vehicle set figure and I never really liked the other iterations made post the ARAH era of figures. The others sculpts i found even less inspiring. This was a good attempt and she doesn’t look bad like a few of the headsculpt figures they made since this line began but I also said I thought a good haslab project would be a modernized Wolverine tank that came with a perfect sculpted blond version of CG actually too. Why not since they have redone Duke and Scarlett multiple times already and only now going to do their OG uniforms in classified. She deserves a remix but a good one that pays homage to her blond incarnation with a good quality headsculpt. They knocked Hélix out the park with the face and head sculpt and they also did a good job on the retro card lady Jaye so they shouldn’t have any problems giving us a blond CG with a killer face and head sculpt in the blond incarnation. Truth be told I wouldn’t thought she would have been one of the few female Joes that came with two different head sculpts one the brown hair and the other blond
People are being pretty harsh with the face. Yes she may look a bit more mature, but it's more Famke Janssen than Joan Rivers like people keep saying. The biggest issue is that the makeup is too harsh. Her code name is Cover Girl, this looks more like Revlon. If it had been more subtle and lighter colors I don't think the face would be an issue at all.
To me, Cover Girl more better as a blonde. The blonde hair gives her a distinctive look from the rest of the ladies. This hair color always confuses me and makes me think that she’s Lady Jaye or Scarlet.
Well mr.bob you just saved me 100 bucks ,this line looked really good it picture s but now in your hands and in video they look sooooo different, they lost me this round and last rd also
@@beesbattlegrounds man I can see that ,that is far nuts and crazy ,bro she looked so good a few months back now yuk she looks like she just go off the set if the morning show the view
As an inbox collector this sucks and also gives way for second merchants to screw people over. I know I will definitely try to get her and those forward from reliable vendors. Looks great to me and keep up the good work
1983 Covergirl had bare hands. Heavily painted, so that they looked like latex prosthetics. 😅 This Classified version looks pretty good. I guess satisfaction will vary from figure to figure. I hope I get a good one, because I'm quite fond of this character. Makes me realise that plastic-free packaging will be an issue for resellers, because you can't tell if a figure is of decent standard without opening the box..
Covergirl hasn't ever used a shotgun from what I could see, gave her the submachine gun from Tiger Force Duke. Shotgun looks great with Falcon, and Falcons works with Flint and the sheath.
Good review! Its not her make up that makes look older. Its the face structure. To many angular features on her face. Her jaw line is too masculine. Cheekbones stick out a little too much. Makes her look older.
She looks like Joan Rivers... brutal.

Cool sculpt, but I don't have any connection to her. Another skip
LOL at bars off base and makeup...
West Pac Widows etc.
I'm plan to head swap with movie version Scarlett.
Of the latest releases, she piques my interest the most.
Whichever hub was doing the paint apps in this wave, was drunk.

I wish they would have given her a second blonde hair sculpt like the Lady-Jaye.
Blonde C.G. didn't wear that color uniform.
@@corneilusmcgillicuddy in the cartoon, sure. In the comics she was blonde with that outfit quite a bit.

I'm waiting for the Blonde Covergirl!

I ended up putting the blonde head from the marvel legends shield vs hydra two pack
@@beesbattlegrounds Good switch! She looks better that way.
Assuming we reach the Glenda tier in the Haslab, I'm just gonna use that head for Cover Girl.

Looks like a 40 year old Jane Fonda. Cool but I’ll pick her up if I see 1 on sale
The picture on a plastic repackaging looks cheesy as hell doesn't even look like the original cartoon

Didn't her release date get pushed back to May?
They did for the US releases, this is from Canada
@@beesbattlegrounds Wasn't the government there working on passing a law to remove toys that promote guns?

I might have to move some weapons around in mydisplay! That Falcon shitty does not look too good in hand
far from 1st windowless packaging and head is trash...
if only I mentioned how it's the first retail windowless wave...
The description of her makeup 😂😂😂 as someone who lives in San Diego I see a lot of those types 😂😂😂
I may or may not have had some run ins with those type 😂
I'm going to get her looks alright to me . I don't care if they exactly classic looking i like some changes
I think that they should have giving her a lot bigger wrench
Ok weirdo …..jacket is removable
?
A first-rate review of Cover Girl and her cool accessories!

Looks like the shotgun that hibana and echo have from rainbow six siege haha
Thats what it is!!
