I'll never forget this live performance ( July 27, 2019 ) I went to the LA Finale with my ex partner at the time. This was her first ODESZA show ever & she had no idea what to expect but the people at the show were all telling her before the show that she'll remember this show forever. We used her phone to record alot of the live songs that night because she had a better quality camera at the moment lol but once this song was about to play i told her to give me the phone & stop recording & just enjoy the moment! Her reaction after the song was over was priceless I'll never forget that small moment in life it almost felt like time stood still for those few minutes. Thank you ODESZA for creating these memories for us 🙏 i think we'd all love to see this song be performed one last time at the Finales!!
Talking from experience, the TLG set was top notch, you could find recordings or watch the Cinematic Experience but it's just not the same, like just standing in the crowd, all the lights go dark and This Version Of You starts playing before leading directly into Beyond The Sun which is when the bass just hits you so hard is not something that could ever translate to a screen, I would 1,000,000% recommend seeing them live if you ever get the chance

THIS ONE IS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. It's the one for every loyal Odesza fan and any new potential fan who needs to be exposed to the magic. I think I'd miss the A Moment Apart/ It's Only VIP mash up. Both are so equally amazing. Both are such life altering gems. Maybe give us the studio version of AMA/IO finally?

During the worst depression I've ever faced in my life, this group was with me and their music was the only thing that made me feel anything other than empty. I promised myself that one day I will watch one of their performances to say thank you. It's impossible for me to simply listen to a song by these guys without at least one tear running down my face. Thank you for moving me like that.
I could listen to this a millionth time and it'll still give me chills down my spine especially the live performances. This is forever one of the best musical pieces out there of me. Love ya guys!!

I saw this for the first time at bumbershoot in 2017 and it is to this day my favorite concert encore song ever. I had never heard anything like it before, capping off a concert that raised the bar for Odesza to what we know and love today. It was a few days before AMA the album released officially. My anticipation was high when they were revealed as a headlining act alongside Lorde and Fume, over artists like Big Sean and Weezer. I had no idea what to expect that night. I saw them on the In Return tour a while back when I was first really getting into their music and I was hyped to see the drum line again, but I was wasn’t sure how they would perform as headliners of this big festival. Well it’s safe to say my mind was blown, and I think most everyone else in the audience too. They played all these AMA songs that at this point nobody had ever heard before. They brought out horns, more live singers and instruments than ever, fireworks, and of course the iconic drum line. They introduced new VIP mixes of old songs, the energy and production was turned up to 11. I know that this is what we all expect of odesza today, but seeing this all for the first time was fucking mind blowing. After the last notes of “It’s Only” rang out I could swear there was this brief moment of silence where everyone’s jaws just dropped before erupting in cheers. Unforgettable. It cemented my Odesza addiction forever lol 😅
