Tom loves the Philippines genuinely and it’s a shame that he’s channel did not get the recognition it deserves. Some filipinos prefer those foreigners who makes pinoybaiting videos and it’s really sad.

It is obvious that other reaction videos with 'shocked-face thumbnails' are glaringly pinoy-baiting, but there are channels like Tom's that are indeed dedicated to promoting Filipino culture. He has set his foot in our country, he built emotional connection with the people. It is obvious that he genuinely love the country and there's a fine line between doing it solely for views and doing it because it makes you happy.
I did. He is one of the few vloggers I actually suvscribed to. Tom has depth and sincerity. Integrity could wear down someone like him in the midst of mediocrity, dishonesty, and hypocrisy.
Dont stop making videos because i like it and i am a filipino and we saw you how to respect people in Philippines and giving gifts respect us some people in here love you so please never stop you have a hope we love you tom
I think the correct thing to say is: Make videos whenever you feel like. Don't force yourself to come up with a video out of pressure, it'll come out as insincere or not genuine.
Hi Tom, just wanted you to know that you are one of the few foreigners i know who I genuinely think cares about his Filipino contents. I've seen most of your works on YT and FB and have to say that a lot of them are well thought out and well written (I specially love your Tabo vid). As a follower and a supporter i hope you're doing fine and wish you luck on your endeavors. P. S. I think Cebu is a good city to kicm off your office. The convinient location, theres opportunity to learn languages apart from tagalog (Bisaya is said to be easier to learn than tagalog for Americans) and it's a little less crowded and busy.

And when I came across this episode just now... reading "feeling guilt"... it got me curious and confirmed what I thought. I felt that the while lockdown you have grown yo know deeper our culture, politics... maybe even went as far as learn about our history... beyond the "textbook" version. So I watched this to know more from you. What I want to say is that... you see Tom... the very first time I encountered some of your content I felt that you're a sincere person. Of course like every other digital content creator... and like you said... yo'u were also making a living. And nothing wrong with that. Honestly, I followed your content aside from having a crush on you (lol)... it was fun. And what I like about them is that they're insightful. Because you are. And I think that's what makes you stand out. Sincerity can't be faked no matter how good you are as an actor. And I love that your realizations that molded those new goals now because of that growth that resulted from being forced to see behind and beyond the picture perfect Pinas. Don't feel guilty , you're human and you need money its a necessity , but I respect you for that . I feel like your videos are very genuine Maybe try to make some videos that you want to learn , like the history of the Philippines visit some places like Vigan City which is a different vibe as we can say learn the language aswell .And try some other stuff like more relatable learn how to cook filipino food and stuff like that.
