Your condition is sad, heart breaking, and truly awful to deal with. I wish I could say more, but know that those of us that have seen your words, will continue through the world, one after the other, carrying a part of you with us. Hopefully they allow some of us to reflect and be kinder, or helpful to those who are hurting in the same way you are. I give you not pity, but kindness the best I can, gentle words from a stranger.
"I refuse to drag you down" my headcanon is that Blaidd finally loses control when he sees us, because he believes we will kill him, so he will never harm Ranni. Beautiful song bro.
@@ALLMINDmercenarysupportsystem "Song of the Abyss" is Aviator's song recounting Sif and Artorias' struggles in the fight of the abyss. Really good, really heart breaking and one of my favorites that he's done.
This song really encapsulates what Blaidd is all about. That despite his tough looking appearance, he is your friend after all no matter the circumstances. And unlike Sif, he is forced to fight you for things beyond his control once you finish Ranni's long quest. Blaidd truly deserved better, and it really saddens me how his story ends, at your hand
I found this song a day after it came out. That day was my Dad's birthday. He passed away years ago. I'm not fishing for sympathy, but I do find the timing so impeccable. This song is so hauntingly beautiful while retaining the tragicness of Blaidd's story and his fate. I can't do a playthrough of Elden Ring without completing Ranni's quest, but I'm never ready for the end of Blaidd's. This song brought me to tears as I remembered and honored not only Blaidd but my father as well. At the end, the line "Have Faith. I'm still with you" always pulls my heart strings because it made me feel like my father is watching me. Thank you Aviators for another wonderful song.
Oh Blaidd... I'm sorry for what I had to do. But I had to do it, you had lost your way... but you will live on in my heart. Forever. Why am I crying...
Played through the game seven times and yet every time seeing what happens to Blaidd still hits me in the feels just like the first time I saw it. Incredible Blaidd song Aviators really embodied the story of his character have a great day
He has become a beast ,you know what you, have to do.Give him the mercy that he deserves, let him rest. He will do the same to you if you become a beast too.
Seriously man, when you changed that last line in the last chorus to "forever yours" I instantly got tears in my eyes. You've come so far! Can't wait to see how far you will still go
It's crazy how well this entire situation (and song) can translate into our own, mundane lifes. I'm absolutely certain there's a good few among you who have had to deal with this exact issue as well - Having to step away from someone you love deeply for their sake, because you're wishing them nothing but the best and you're not that. This one hurt. A lot. Edit: It's also pretty poetic how the line changes from "Know me for WHAT I am" to "Remember WHO I was". It changes from being half a wolf (as in 50% wolf nature/genetics) and afraid of that, to being "Half Wolf" (as a name or title) and being forever loyal of their friend.
I'm genuinely sorry to even suggest this but the the chorus reminds me of the chorus to Demons by Imagine Dragons. Like, not entirely, but at least part of it.
Man you guys very quickly have become my favorite band of all time. I love anything souls and that's why I started listening to you guys a few years back and now I can't stop. So thanks for all the amazing stuff you make!
Never played Elden Ring and knew next to nothing about this character but I know the first 10 times I listened to this song and really listened to it. I was brought to tears each time it was Very emotional and really powerful. I love your music keep up the good work.
I have never played Elden Ring, though I have heard a lot about Blaidd, and this song is making me crying like a baby. Thank you for another masterpiece!
Awoooo!! Yess HalfWolf so worth the wait Aviators wow I can't wait for the whole EP and Acoustic 3!!! Neon sonata!!! Hahaha and you made history today for releasing the title track before the EPs release ❤
Truly a song deserving for the bestest boy in Elden Ring. It really captures the esence of the tragedy of Blaidd's story. Not gonna lie, as much as I hate to admit it, this really made me cry. The "Remember who I was, half-wolf, forever yours", after the whole song being "half-wolf and half afraid" was so heart-warming and sweet, despite what it means in the story.
"When the voices, make my choices" feels like a callback to Song of the Abyss, and I'm definitely noticing some of the melodies used in Wolves, and possibly Friendship? Start of the chorus distantly reminds me of Have Faith. All in all, loved it! Definitely gonna be one I repeatedly listen to again!
First off, excellent song. It really captures Blaidd's eternal struggle and endless devotion to the Age of Stars. I know a lot of people made comparsions between Siegward and Alexander, but this song made realize the comparisons between Blaidd and Gael. Both tragic figures serving their mistresses for a cause they see as noble.
Amazing work as always, Hope you have a good day Aviators And to all who are reading this while listening to this amazing ballad, halo you all have and amazing day as well!
This song reminds me of my fur baby whom passed away, she was a native american indigenous dog, and looked like a timber wolf 🐺. for 5yrs she was by my side lighting up my life with joy, heartache and luv. i lost her to cancer but she will always be with me.

"Rest in peace my friend i will be her blade on your behalf i will keep her safe rest now wolf you earned your peace my friend i will carry on your path in your stead and keep her safe" is what i said listening to this song
First song of 2023! AWOOO! I love the uplifting energy of this song. It feels very nostalgic, especially with the little nod to Friendship in the instrumental. Can't wait for the Halfwolf EP! 🐺
Edit part: In the first two chorus, "Half wolf and half afraid", is a pretty curious contradiction. In symbology, wolves are synonymous of loyalty and strength, but also with bravery, characteristic of a warrior (for example, Mars in Rome mithology or the scandinavians warriors of the god Odin, who went into battle wearing wolf skins and howling). So, "Half Wolf" symbolizes, not only Blaidd's physical appearance, but also his BRAVERY when defending his sister. "Half afraid" would be then, his concern, translated into fear, for what could happen to his sister and for what damage he could do to her, once the mechanism corrupts his will. I didn't played Elden Ring (video games are not my strong point), so I can't say if this interpretation of mine is explicit in the construction of Blaidd as a character or if it was your impression when interacting with him, but I think it's very cool if you like mythological details in fiction and fantasy games. Anyway, thanks for being amazing and making such good music. A virtual hug from a fan from the south. Original part: I don't know if you're going to read this, but... Happy first anniversary of this beautiful song It's very nice to hear your voice and your songs, you are very nice Avi I still can't control my tears in the final part, you know: "We all need a friend to watch the world die out" I love this song so much
Amazing song, as always! It made me cry and I never played Elden Ring, but the story you sings leave us enough space to imagine and create too. Love you! 🖤
This pulled heartstrings i didn't even knew I had. Don't know why, but the song resonated deep with me, specially the "lift you as i break" part. Guess is the selflessness and tragedy of blaidd quest line. Someone who was betrayed by his very nature
I can't believe I am just finding this masterpiece. The algorithm has failed me. Aviators, you blew this one out of the park. From the visuals of seeing Blaidd with Ranni to the lyrics really holding to what this determined character was really about, I am just... in tears for the best of reasons. This song was right on the money with what I imagine Blaidd was thinking this entire time. Knowing from the start that he would eventually betray his most important person through no fault of his own. To fighting the urge day in and day out while risking his life to see her will done. Blaidd really is best boy... Ranni's heartbroken dialogue tells us everything we need to know about how close these two were. And for him to place his trust in us, to become her new protector... If you can't tell, this story has really touched me. Thank you for this amazing song!
This is such a beautiful tribute. I think another character who deserves an Aviators song is Hewg. He stays by the Tarnished's side until the end, smithing weapons even after he loses his mind. He reminds me of Blaidd in that way, in fact, and Radahn, too. Remaining loyal even after having their mind broken
Bro this song was amazing great job. Blaidd is my favorite character in Elden Ring and the way you made this song about him is absolutely perfect. I just love your music lol amazing work.
Words can't express how much I love this song, but listening to it is hard. It invokes feelings stronger than any other song I've heard in what feels like must be years, and they're feelings I would rather not feel. As soon as the lyrics kicked in, I started trying to sing along! 😄 Sounds and feels like classic Aviators! 🌟 Such beautiful music and video. 😌 And the ending is so moving! 💟 Hold on. Do the instrumentals reference Friendship?! (Listens to Friendship; reads a little bit of Half-Wolf's comment section; realizes I didn't save and, thus, have to retype my previous comment... 😅) Yeah, I can see that. Cool, it's not just me. 'Kay! Time for a proper relisten! 😄 I love this song. 😁 That last part, I'm going to need to memorize as an anthem for my changeling bard to sing at some point! Now to share this with my friends! 😆 SO EXCITED FOR A NEW EP! 😆
I’ve recently been listening to your music a lot more lately. Your songs place a sort of nostalgic feeling in me, even the newer ones! They give me the feeling of home, especially this one. This song brings tears to my eyes. It’s very beautiful and sends chills down my arms!
recently finished Ranni's questline, and the knowledge that despite going mad from his nature and the Influence of something greater he still returned to Ranni's Rise to protect someone who is no longer there is both incredibly impressive and even more depressing. Because if you listen to him talking before fighting him, he is actively trying to retain what little humanity he has left, all for her
In a way, Blaidd makes the same choice as the Wolf in Sekiro. Owl might have just been some asshole unable to do more than bad parenting rather than a full eldritch horror able to create life and define its instincts, but ultimately both tasked their creations to serve a good person and then thought they could revoke that command and be obeyed.
How hard must it be, to devote your life to the one person you ever know and love and care, knowing that one day, your fate is already set to betray them. To betray their trust and their love of you, to betray your very existence, to betray your own family and your own friends. Here to our bestest friend, our bestest boy Blaidd. He was loyal till the very end.
I love this! I got Elden Ring last December to see what the hype was all about. This was my first "Souls" game and it was my favorite experience in gaming for a while. this song mades me nostalgic on the good time we all had on all the souls/borne game. A song to unite friendship amongst the chaos and the corruption of those universe.
I am absolutely addicted to your Souls/Elden Ring songs, and this one is no different. It's simply beautiful beyond words, and is a wonderful tribute to the bestest boi :3
The melody of the song sounds inspired by Imagine Dragon's "Demons", while also carrying aspects of Aviator's "They'll never find us". Combined, it makes for a Beautifully haunting Melody.
Such a beautiful and truly touching song. I love your ballads and soft spoken music so much! This reminds of This Is Not The End, the one song that fooled me into believing that it was a triumphant song about fighting on and not giving up (based on the title) when really, it's the saddest song you have made aside from this song and Waiting Games. Rarely does a song make me cry, but this one as well as This Is Not The End are two amazing songs that force me to shed tears at it's sweet message about loss.

I haven't cried so hard since "Song of the Abyss". Thank you, Avi, you reminded me of something really important.
same bro
What important thing was that?
@@ALLMINDmercenarysupportsystem "Song of the Abyss" is Aviator's song recounting Sif and Artorias' struggles in the fight of the abyss. Really good, really heart breaking and one of my favorites that he's done.
Yeah this one punched my feels really hard, Instant choking on tears as soon as he said "I'll lift you as I break".
Same here guys… am crying like little kid….
"We all need a friend to watch the world die out" I can't begin to express how much I love that last line.
@Mr_Aviatorsthis is totally legit and not a scam.
So beautiful. Rest in peace Blaidd. May the stars shine upon you forever
Incredible Blaidd song Aviators really embodied the story of his character have a great day
You can't get over your best friend becoming something he isn't.
Ever.
@@thetau4866 exactly
"Keep holding on for me, i will lift you as i break". Such saddeness yet the most beautiful part of the lyrics
I swear there's something familiar about this song...it tickle a nostalgic part of my brain but i have no clue what...
It kinda reminds me of Trust in You, by Lauren Daigle. And another song I can't think of at the moment lol.
I got Friendship vibes. During the instrumental parts, try singing the "oo-oo-oo-ooo" over it. Fits perfectly!
I'm genuinely sorry to even suggest this but the the chorus reminds me of the chorus to Demons by Imagine Dragons. Like, not entirely, but at least part of it.
@@pikadidi3279 Oh, Thank you so much! I was trying to figure out what I was reminded of!
Chris Tomlin - I Will Follow. This Was What I was thinking of as well lol
Man you guys very quickly have become my favorite band of all time. I love anything souls and that's why I started listening to you guys a few years back and now I can't stop. So thanks for all the amazing stuff you make!
Wait till you find out aviators is only one guy.
Band?
@@SkyshadowDerg Well. You could say Aviators is a one man band.
Like Miracle of Sound, Avi is a one person band.
Let There Be Fire is what got me following Avi.
@@azrael1208 nine inch nails, owl city, dethklok, gorillaz, they're all bands too despite being one guy
"Half Wolf, Forever Yours" has me in tears. What a beautiful line. 😥
This is truly amazing work. You are brilliant. That ending… that ending.
“Let’s give them a show to remember, eh. Just don’t you go dying on me..”
Honestly didn't expect a song about Blaidd to be this chill. I expected more screaming, and depression. But this? It puts a smile on my face.
Never played Elden Ring and knew next to nothing about this character but I know the first 10 times I listened to this song and really listened to it. I was brought to tears each time it was Very emotional and really powerful. I love your music keep up the good work.
It's not often that a song about a character in a video game makes me cry...
OMG!!!!
THIS IS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR!!!
Amazing, so amazing, Avi..
qwq 🖤🤟
Amazing work as always, Hope you have a good day Aviators
And to all who are reading this while listening to this amazing ballad, halo you all have and amazing day as well!
Thanks. Have a great day yourself.
@@VTimmoni thank you
Thank you. You too.
This song reminds me of my fur baby whom passed away, she was a native american indigenous dog, and looked like a timber wolf 🐺.
for 5yrs she was by my side lighting up my life with joy, heartache and luv. i lost her to cancer but she will always be with me.
Rip
My dog died yesterday. I know how you feel
@slayre1408 🫂 hug i really just want hug you its been 6 months and im still grieving.
One thing that helps me heal is looking at her old videos and photos and seeing her smile in every one she was awake in. idk if that would help but i hope it helps i know everyone grievs diffrently.
Damn it man now you’ve done changed the whole song for me
@vixshire3672 hugs, sorry bro im still grieving hard songs and things remind me of my not so little angel.
I love it. Can't wait to play this non-stop for the next month
Yet another Aviators song giving me goosebumps! I adore your song writing so much!
"Rest in peace my friend i will be her blade on your behalf i will keep her safe rest now wolf you earned your peace my friend i will carry on your path in your stead and keep her safe" is what i said listening to this song
This is a beautiful song.
Never expected Blaidd to have his own fan song, but I love it so much.
"Half Wolf, Forever Yours" just *chefs kiss*
Amazing song! I’m looking forward to buying it once it’s properly released.
Always a good day when you upload a new song for us all to enjoy. :)
First song of 2023! AWOOO!
I love the uplifting energy of this song. It feels very nostalgic, especially with the little nod to Friendship in the instrumental.
Can't wait for the Halfwolf EP! 🐺
There is just something about Aviators music that just lets you chill and take a break from everything that is going on in the world.
Edit part:
In the first two chorus, "Half wolf and half afraid", is a pretty curious contradiction.
Original part:
I don't know if you're going to read this, but...
Happy first anniversary of this beautiful song
It's very nice to hear your voice and your songs, you are very nice Avi
I still can't control my tears in the final part, you know:
"We all need a friend to watch the world die out"
I love this song so much
I didn't expect this to be so unbelievably beautiful. Another amazing work. Thank you for this.
This is one of the best songs I’ve heard from you, Avi. And I’ve been listening for nearly 10 years now.
All my homies love hewg
This song has got a vibe like “Something special is coming to an end.”
Finally a song for my man, it's such a beautiful tribute to him ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful song dude! It really reminds me of Find Me; a very fitting tribute for Blaidd.
The main reason i could never go for the true ending, would never have been able to kill best boy. Amazing work on this song its so beautiful
There's no "true" ending until next game is out, lol.
I love this style! Definitely one of my new favorite songs of yours!
Bro this song was amazing great job. Blaidd is my favorite character in Elden Ring and the way you made this song about him is absolutely perfect. I just love your music lol amazing work.
This is what Blaidd is singing before you call him down.
Words can't express how much I love this song, but listening to it is hard. It invokes feelings stronger than any other song I've heard in what feels like must be years, and they're feelings I would rather not feel. But it's a beautiful song, so I'm just gonna keep feeling them whenever the song comes up in a playlist
Aw, HELL YEAH! 🤩 Didn't realize how much I missed Aviators until the first notes played and hit me with nostalgia. As soon as the lyrics kicked in, I started trying to sing along! 😄 Sounds and feels like classic Aviators! 🌟
Such beautiful music and video. 😌 And the ending is so moving! 💟
Hold on. Do the instrumentals reference Friendship?!
(Listens to Friendship; reads a little bit of Half-Wolf's comment section; realizes I didn't save and, thus, have to retype my previous comment... 😅)
Yeah, I can see that. Cool, it's not just me.
'Kay! Time for a proper relisten! 😄
I love this song. 😁 That last part, I'm going to need to memorize as an anthem for my changeling bard to sing at some point!
Now to share this with my friends! 😆
SO EXCITED FOR A NEW EP! 😆
Been following you for years, enjoying banger after banger. Thanks for all the tunes, king
I’ve recently been listening to your music a lot more lately. Your songs place a sort of nostalgic feeling in me, even the newer ones! They give me the feeling of home, especially this one. This song brings tears to my eyes. It’s very beautiful and sends chills down my arms!
"Remember who i was, half wolf forever yours" Makes me tear up every time. Thanks guys i didn't need my heart today
I really like how despite this song being about a tragic character, it's a celebration rather than a lament and you can hear that in the major key.
recently finished Ranni's questline, and the knowledge that despite going mad from his nature and the Influence of something greater he still returned to Ranni's Rise to protect someone who is no longer there is both incredibly impressive and even more depressing. Because if you listen to him talking before fighting him, he is actively trying to retain what little humanity he has left, all for her
also after slaying him, the song Carry On was playing in my head and I nearly ugly cried
So happy to see this notification ! Great song as always ❤
Absolutely delightful song Avi. Keep up the amazing work bro!
I love this! I got Elden Ring last December to see what the hype was all about. This was my first "Souls" game and it was my favorite experience in gaming for a while. Seeing your other Souls songs has inspired me to go back and play the rest of the series. This series is beautiful, and your songs are the equally as beautiful. Phenomenal stuff! P.S Blaidd is the best boy.
Something about these vocal melodies has a really strong Anime intro vibe. The chorus especially. Absolute bop.
Never played elden ring, but this still nearly made me cry.
The ability to be able to create something that powerul is really impressive. Definitely something to be proud of.
Farewell, brave wolf. Rest, knowing you did your best.
I'm gonna be honest. At "forever yours" i started crying. It's so sad that such a good person has to suffer this much without a way out.
Gorgeous... what a beautiful voice you have, it's a pleasure to listen to you 🥰
These songs are easily my favorite way to look into the lore of these games.
A song of a loving father, this almost made me cry, absolutely beautiful.
*gets notification of new track from Aviators*
*obligingly stops what I was doing to listen*
*cue Dopamine*
☺️😌
Damn, that's such a good and nice song! Just like always a Masterpiece Aviators! Hope you feel alright everyday
No, really, I just have something in my eye… *thinking of every Goodest Boi I’ve known*
This has the same vibes as Song of the Abyss
I love it
I like how weirdly upbeat this song it, Blaidd knew exactly what would happen when he did what he did and didn't care a bit.
Blaidd i Miss you so much😢 rest well my dear friend you deserve it more than i can ever say.
This is my favorite band ever i love all of of ur songs!!!!
Rest in peace to the best boi
Your voice and the instruments are so clear in this. I'm astonished by the mixing. I hope all your music sounds this good even if it takes twice as long to put out. First song of 2023 and it's one of your best♥️
Love this dude! Love this, dude! Love, this dude!
You never cease to amaze. This song is amazing! One of the very best of your works.
this song mades me nostalgic on the good time we all had on all the souls/borne game.
A song to unite friendship amongst the chaos and the corruption of those universe.
This hits me right in the feels!
Once again a masterpiece. Thank you for so many beautifull songs and I can only hope that these wonderful creations never stop
Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
I am absolutely addicted to your Souls/Elden Ring songs, and this one is no different. It's simply beautiful beyond words, and is a wonderful tribute to the bestest boi :3
Fromsoft's really just
"Wanna see me put Guts in the game?" *Artorias*
"Wanna see me do it again?" *Blaidd.*
The melody of the song sounds inspired by Imagine Dragon's "Demons", while also carrying aspects of Aviator's "They'll never find us".
Combined, it makes for a Beautifully haunting Melody.
@Mr_Aviators Delete yourself Bot.
Can't say if that's true, but I can hear it.
Will always remember you Blaiid. We all stand strong in your memory
You just made me cry while sitting in a bus for a character I don't even know, and I have only one thing to say about this.
Thank you.
