I was really struggling with my collage skills. Your video has been a great help - using a file card to get my feel and sense of the art. Thank you so much ❣️

I agree the mojo is freedom to see what becomes of it. I agree with your new creative method. Love all three.

I have done mixed media for almost a year now, and my base layer is always a collage of old book pages, music paper, images, etc. -- always!! The layering adds so much to a mixed media piece- bonding with the piece- getting out of my own head and world around me and ready to create something!!

Collaging is really easy and great to use up scraps. It helps not to over think things and can be relaxing just to keep tearing and gluing paper. Love your videos!

Glad to have something good to watch instead of football. I loved your tutorial and loved how you spoke freely about losing your "mojo". I think talking about it to all us helps you. By the looks of todays tutorial you are getting it back and I love purchasing your downloads, have a whole notebook full of them. I print them first on plain copier paper and put in a notebook to go thru when I am ready to junk journal. Thank you!

Super helpful Tracie! So many times I begin to collage some tags, index cards, etc and get caught up trying to make them "finished" it really does take the carefree and spontaneous fun away from simply doing collage. Using papers that are already a collage design is a great idea! I purchased my first ever digi download from your shop last week and LOVE it. I will be back for more. i liked what another person shared, how she prints them, and adds them to a 3 ring binder. i am going to do that to keep them organized and ready to go. thanks for sharing, you inspired me a lot! sometimes these simple techniques can get over complicated, this is a great reminder! 💕👍😊

Collage has always been one of my favorite art forms/techniques. It can be great therapy if you don’t think about it too much and just “let it happen” and have fun with it! I loved doing it with my students when I was teaching, as they could all feel successful.

I don't think you lost your mojo, not if you're creating your digitals still. Sometimes we just want to do what we want to do, and you have to get all those thoughts from your brain to paper (or computer), so it can become a reality. I've learned to just let myself go with the flow and don't try to force it. Your digital kits fabulous and take a lot of your creative mind.
Also, I have an Epson workforce and my scanner is 12"x17", and I love it!
    Hang in there, Tracie!

It looks like your mojo was just resting and your video has motivated me to collage this afternoon. Thanks again.

So happy to see a new video from you! Missed hearing your sweet voice saying hello hello... 😊
Oh my, these were really fabulous collages, think I love the tag one the most, but I love the ones you did before too... You're very talented girl!
The mojo is easily lost especially if someone is doing the same thing for a certain period of time or going through hard times, but when it's back is all good with fresh ideas!
I've lost mine from time to time in both my crafts and nail art... Especially since I lost my mom, who inspired me in everything as was extremely talented and creative. But then I get it back when I remember her advises and I'll share them with you too...
Don't fret and don't stress! Take a break, try something totally new, like a totally different theme or colours or style... play with your creativity and tease your mind, think positive, your mojo is not lost, is still there, its just hiding under other things so rest and most importantly have some "you" time and it will come back if it hasn't already...
Looking forward in seeing your next video, whenever you feel like making it... big hugs xxx

I always LOVE your collages! I think what you said about "making mistakes" is what puts a kink in the creative flow. Not focusing on a final product or having to have it be something or be perfect is what helps the creative process--as you so beautifully illustrated!

Very nice video, Tracie! I like that you use the Art Glitter glue along with the glue stick to secure the pieces. Your intuitive collage is gorgeous, so please don't underestimate yourself or feel too frustrated. I think everyone has sort of a "missing mojo" period after a busy spell, such as the holiday season. Just persevere with doing a little something crafty now and then, watch some You Tube videos, etc. and the spark will return, promise! ;)

Yes..you are right. Don't think to much and glue that scrap paper what ever it's comes in row. It's relaxing and how you mentioned...when you loose your creativity just do some collage and listen some music along. You are so sweet and positive..don't worry you will do the same fantastic digitals. It's just a bad time for creative mind's.. sometime just switch the things what normally do...do something else and after a while come back and continue. Just struggling myself with this issue at the moment and just build my stash for the next projects. Already I bought a bunch of digitals..yours and several others and cut them and store them waiting the right moment to do something with them. For the moment I don't make videos but I will do a short one just for the Facebook group maibe I motivate myself to start again filming...hahah. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. So you see you are not alone in this journey. Hugs. Keep doing what you do..you doing well. See you on Facebook group.

Hi Tracie, this was a great video. I recently got into collaging and I use it to create A4 collages on copy paper. I then scan it so I have a copy I can play with on my PC - you don't need a graphics program, even in Word you can change the colours and apply various artistic filters to get different effects. Then I print them out so I have my own custom paper. Sometimes I use that paper in another collage. So collage might eat itself...☺

Hi Tracie. I hope you find your mojo. It's really frustrating when it decides to go on holiday. I only had a short amount of time before work the other day and really wanted to get something done, so did an A4 page of collage. As I didn't have time to think about it too much it worked really well and now I have some awesome tag bases.
That's cheap for your printing. I love my printer, but I seem to get through the ink really quickly.
Video was absolutely fine and you did explain yourself clearly 😊 xx

You're right. We lose our mojo at times. My father passed away at Christmas, my 17 year old kitty passed too. It's just rough right now. Usually if I coffee dye a big bunch of paper it gets me going again...but it does come back. Sometimes we just may need to relax a bit, be kind to ourselves and not worry so much. The mojo will be back...hugs from Arizona...;)

I’m rewatching for the second time and was happy to notice that you use the UHU glue stick and art glitter glue to stick down your images! I was thinking I must be crazy as I’m always using the 2 glues as the UHU glue stick seems to come up on the edges no matter how much i slather on! Great video! ❤️

Thank you for sharing this with us. I tend to overthink and it is hard to tear and put down. I am getting better and I am learning to have an eye for what goes and what is just no....I am one who has always had control over what I did to my papers. Junk journal, I want to and I am going to do this and I do enjoy watching you and a very few others do junk journals. Well can an old dog learn a new trick, if you try. Thank you again and hugs
