TJ Klune did a book signing at my local indie bookstore this week and I was lucky enough to pick up signed copies of Somewhere Beyond the Sea and The House on the Cerulean Sea ❤
Nothing But Blackened Teeth was really weak for me, but The Salt Grows Heavy is fantastic and one of my favourite novellas! Definitely one that's worth checking out
It was so lovely to meet you at RARE, I'm glad you had a good time to. Sometimes after peopling so much it is necessary to become a hermit for a while. I'm so looking forward to being a hermit soon, I feel like I've not stopped peopling all month and I cannot anymore.
Counting down the days until RARE London 2025!!! Me as an American listening to the American sprinkles being banned in the UK for being too unhealthy 👀💀

I thought I recognized the art you bought! her work is amazing :D
I don't even read romance and I'm jealous!
I avoided Khaw’s Nothing But Blackened Teeth because of the reviews I saw, but I loved The Salt Grows Heavy
RARE looked great, The Salt Grows Heavy is the better book to read imo, its a great horror novella

I've read Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage by Murakami and from the way you describe Norwegian Wood it sounds like the same book.
Thanks for the heads up because I also own this one 😅
