I know other people have mentioned this, but the irony of Danny Masterson playing the "nice guy" in this movie whom Nicholle Tom's character ends up with at the end while Ashley Hamilton, played the popular guy who had less than noble intention (this scene is far more disturbing now, not only watching it as an adult, but with Danny Masterson sentenced to 30 years to life for rape).

his friends deserve some credit though, if it wasn't for their antics Beethoven would have never broken the deck. I'd have some pride and self accomplishment if I found out my drunken stupidity prevented a rape and added insult to injury with his parents house being destroyed in the process.
Ryce got away from the would be rapist, and into the arms of Danny Mastersen.
Oh wait…..
LOL the irony!
I know other people have mentioned this, but the irony of Danny Masterson playing the "nice guy" in this movie whom Nicholle Tom's character ends up with at the end while Ashley Hamilton, played the popular guy who had less than noble intention (this scene is far more disturbing now, not only watching it as an adult, but with Danny Masterson sentenced to 30 years to life for rape).
at 4:05 the best scream when Taylor falls into the Lake like a Iron Man for the loss of his chance lol hehe!
Gut-wrenching scream @ 4:04 🗣️
Its called "Howie Scream".
Yeah I mean I've felt that it was out of place and he dives into the water way too dramatically. He could've held ground and at least try to leap forward. This scream is more suiting when a man is devoured by a shark or something.... very odd.
How can Ryce get down from Taylor’s house when the door is locked? Ever since Beethoven saves Ryce from Taylor when he destroyed the house’s patio deck.
I'm sure someone would have called the fire department.
YYYYEEEAAAARGH
the fact that i understood this scene when I was ten is pretty messed up
3:46 - 3:53 after growing up I realized what actual kind of Experience Taylor was talking about.... That guy was really sick 🤢
Beethoven just channeled his Martin Riggs when he bought the house down 😂😂😂
As a then child I had no idea what was gonna potentially happen to Ryce but I sensed that something wasn't right with Taylor based on how he was smiling at Ryce in certain scenes it gave me creep vibes
the sound he makes, when he falls into the water lol I like this family movies, they don't make them like they used to
The classic Howie scream
I want to see this with requiem for a dream music
Attempted rape and teen drinking in a family film; there were certainly far less taboos in the 90s lol
You won't see this in any airings on Disney.
@@foxmccloud7055 surprisingly abc family/freeform kept this scene in
@@moseskuria1234did USA leave this intact?

4:27 Bruh she shouldn't have said anything...... they could sue her family for the damage caused. They were all drunk and all and probably wouldn't notice that the dog pulled the balconies down, now she literally admitted guilt (she responsbile cuz you can't sue a dog)
LOL, nah. They definitely saw Beethoven trying to pull down the balcony.
Who knows, maybe the balcony was on its way our anyway.
This was the first Howie scream I ever heard.
Beethoven ain't going for that trying to be sexual with her, but Beethoven saved the day. They all got exactly what they deserved too. Good job Beethoven!!!!!!!
That would-be predator was right. Ryce likely never forgot the sight of him flying out of the room!
3:57 the party has just begun 😂😂😂😂
The dog tore the house down!
This is pretty dark to be in a kids movie
I watched this film as a kid and remembered it randomly as a 32 year old woman the other day and man...: It never dawned to me that Ryce would get SA'd if it wasnt for Beethoven! Unfortunaly i see the scene differently now.
Back then the most terrible moment was when the guys poured beer on beethoven :( poor doggo! I still wonder to this day though how Ryce got out of that room???
Loved these movies. This scene I was like oh hell no Pouring the drink on the dog then the dude locking the door. I’m glad Beethoven did what he did, he saved her
I'm so glad I don't drink.
Good. Better not to be an a**hole
@@armorpro573I hear that
@@ansumanahargett6227 Regardless, this scene has me mixed. Idk if this was intentional, but having Taylor become bad all of a sudden feels kind of forced.
Especially with the first half of the movie being with Ryce. And even weirder, this scene is never brought up again.
@@armorpro573it’s obvious she dumped his cheating ass.
Good for you nice dog for saving her life.
Apparently these kids never saw Cujo. You don’t mess with Saint Bernards
Beethoven's, a real hero! 4:28
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy
Yup, the dude was a scumbag.
0:54 You might wanna tie that furball up.
Ryce: Thanks Beethoven! 4:28
How are no comments mentioning how he screams like a TIE fighter?
lol that scream is called the howie scream, it’s a popular scream sound effect (like the wilhelm scream) in movies but yeah it was used a ton in kung fu flicks.
Good job Beethoven good boy 👦 👍 👏
The dark irony of this scene: the actor that played Taylor isn’t a scumbag (to my knowledge); the kind boy Rice bonds with in the film was played by… Danny Masterson.
3:44 that face when you know something bad is going to happen but it's not your house so fuck it.
that person on the left really knew they fucked up
plus that person didn't even pour beer on the dog, he had a smile and face that was saying "we're gonna fuck up aren't we"
@@ThatIsALakeSir he looks like he's not even sure what's really going on and can only piece together "beer + big dog x shaking porch = I don't know let's see"
@@TheSantyClawsChannel *boom*
That's showing them, Beethoven!
That scream tho 🤣🤣🤣
That was my first time ever hearing the Gutwrench/Howie scream in a movie. I legit thought he made that scream lmao
4:22
I saw this movie on TV as a kid and I was scared for Ryce when Taylor locked the door and he was planning to have his way with her. The day before I saw an episode of Degrassi The Next Generation where Paige goes to a party to hang out with a boy she had a crush on, only to be lured to an upstairs bedroom where he raped her. My parents had to explain to me the context of what happened to Paige, so when this scene came up, I was terrified because I understood what was about to go down. Thank goodness Beethoven prevented things from escalating.
I don't even like dogs, but I wish I had a Beethoven..
I used to always laugh at the scream as a kid 😂. I was too young to understand what he was trying to do to her but thar scream was just hilarious to me
We are looking at least $100,000 to $200,000 in damages peeps.
Is that adjusting for inflation from 1993 when this came out?
And I’m certain Taylor is gonna have to take odd jobs left and right for the rest of his life to pay off those damages in full!
And then she ends up with Danny Masterson instead ... dear God
Beethoven is the best. The parents owe him so much
@@tawouinnn Idk. Who cares?
4:06 The Howie Scream
I listen to this song on my phone 😂 fun fact: in real life, Taylor devrough beat his wife
He beat Angie Everhart cause as far as I know they were divorced in like less than a year, or was it the other one?
You mean Ashley "Ash" Hamilton?(George Hamilton's son).
What’s the song called? Artist?
@@Porkchopsteve87 chains my boy Elroy 💕
If they had used Danny Masterson for this scene it would’ve been far more disturbing!!!
True.
“Hey Taylor, great party. Thanks Beethoven” . Thank you for posting this very dark intense scene in a kids family movie. And most inappropriate use of ‘Howie scream’… or best use 🤷♂️
'Howie scream' is what it's called. There's noticable differences. Dark and intense but it's a good message and young kids by the time wouldn't have gotten it, but the whole feeling of it would've probably given them a good life lesson to not just trust strangers who act shady.
@@Firemarioflower I JUST discovered the Howie scream is what I’ve been calling Willhelm forever. Thank you. And now I know the real Willhelm scream. Not as enjoyable as Howie
