If I was the sylveon user, i would have shield the charged attack from Gallade, if they are that weak to charm and not switching, your health on Sylveon is very likely much valuable than a shield.

It's honestly a mix. You can't win with just luck alone, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have your team counter theirs every step of the way :)
Then again if you're not very lucky the lag and glitches could get you...

I think it would be neat if they took away whatever pokemon was used most each day for the rest of the week once trainers reach level 20. There's ALWAYS a Walrein. There's ALWAYS a Trevenant. I would be ECSTATIC to face a crazy team like this one over the Walrein Trevanant ANYTHING team I keep seeing every match.

well, i tried to run a monotype challenge before, with triple water type, using swampert, gyarados, and lapras.... however, obviously im not as skilled as this madlad over here, knowing what the winning condition every match,and always clutches at the last second..😆
It really disappoints me that so many people at level 20 are still using meta teams.
To be fair, there's a rockruff in the encounter rewards (and also porygon which I didn't get shiny of after 2 events featuring it and the worst part is that I can't even pvp now, because Niantic just packed their game and ran from Russia because store was turned off)
