iManage Work 10 Doc ID - Do we need a third party tool?

How do you get the document ID into the footer, or elsewhere, in an MS Word document?
iManage Work 10 contains a tool that can put it in the footer for you. But this may or may not be adequate for some organizations.
There are third party tools available (at a cost) that can do more with the document ID. Such as place it anywhere you want it in or outside of the footer, on the first or last page only, etc.
