Nothing better then SOLO!! There's something about the "Life on the edge" when one is completely independent of others to survive out in the forest. Solo always gets my thumbs up, rarely do I watch group/couple camping videos.
Started winter camping while in the Cub Scouts, Added an Army blanket over the ridge pole for extra warmth by trapping air space. Used corrugated sheet on the floor for some warmth. Tried some canvas between trees to shed some snow. Sliding a duffel bag over our sleeping bag held some extra warmth. Used some canvas and an Army blanket for my German Shepherd's bed. She did like Van Camp's pork and beans. Warm beans were good, but cold beans were OK. If were snared or shot a rabbit, it was cooked and eaten. If we had two or more tents, they were placed with the fronts joined to double the length and allow dry storage of our gear. Some tarp to shelter our cook fire and break the wind added to our general comfort. The military canteen with its cup and cover were carried by most of the Cub Scouts. A can of sliced peaches in the heavy syrup was considered a fine treat. During warm temperatures canned or powdered food was used. Everything else would spoil. Two people and a dog in a pup tent made enough body heat to warm the air so your breath could not be seen.
kool video again, bro i would love to see you and rosa do separate video's every now and then , they say a bit of spice , anyways keep it up both of you ..
The path in the forests is kilometers of silence, calmness. This is mushroom prel, the careful fluttering of birds. These are cold porcini mushrooms, wild strawberries, purple bluebells in the clearings, trembling of aspen leaves, solemn light and, finally, forest twilight, when dampness pulls from the mosses and fireflies burn in the grass.
I would love to see you two do a video traveling the US, if at all possible. In your new camper van. Have you ever thought of doing a schoolie? Film you two building it from beginning to end, and then take it on long trips together. With your knowledge and incredible building skills I would love to see you two build one.
Thanks for the video. I will continue to watch and learn for our own big tour to Turkey. It goes from Germany via Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran to Turkey to our HOME.
So I have watched a few of your video's especially as I love winter. Enjoy seeing you, Rosa and Chad (Charlie's Angel's would be proud he has kept you both safe and 😏 mobile). Still it's actually nice to see you guys doing individual video's.
Wow snow dump city! that was cool! I like you guys as a team but It might be interesting to see a couple of singles. But again to quote a movie. " you are an effective team"
I was floored at the amount of snow and how fast it came down. I don't see how you were able to drive Chad out. I missed Rosa but a solo is okay from time to time. Do you have anything where you can notify if you get in trouble? Safe travels.

Snow is glistening...there is also a beautiful side walking alongside with the snow falling from the Heavenly World...💖
You're a champion at life

This is so cool! Need water - just dig into the wall! Nice job again with the vlog and imaginative shelter!
Thanks for watching!
You should do both. Solo videos and together. Nice change of pace and we get to know you guys more individually.
Great Video, Snowing here in North East Indiana tonight, Only a few inches
Love this but it is making me nervous. I am afraid you will be hurt. Glad to know you are still ok. :)

Haha thanks for watching!
Here In Deep South Texas By The Border. Don’t Get Snow Like That It Does Get Cold Above Temps. Mostly Cold Rain.
Such a flimsy shelter in such harsh conditions. Stay safe
How the hell do you find your way out of that snow maze? GPS to the car?
Decent way finding skills, but always gps too! Thanks for watching!

Took a lot of digging! Luckily up where I was there’s enough skier traffic and cell service in case I need help.
👋🇦🇺
How long did it take to make your shelter? Great video
About two hours. Thanks for watching!
Snow falls a lot Why this video make alone.
Did you munch down on Honey Butter chips at 2:01?
Haha just classic Lays
Drink your walls?, It beats Hansel and Gretel I suppose lol
Haha why not!
Where were you
Это Америка или Аляска?
I'm interested in your photography! Please send me the website!

That looked like lighter snow than the usual "Cascade Cement." Probably just as well for the sake of your roof!
Some of the lightest powder I’ve ever seen!
Where is your girlfriend??
She was away for work, but she’ll be in the next videos!
Do you have a Instagram?
Yes! @everestmaher
@@TravelersTale Thank you!
