These are great interviews. Film celebrities, who are continually misrepresented in the media, and have learned the art of building a public persona, are usually quite protective of what they say but Sam can really get them to share themselves in a way that few interviewers do.
She is so wonderfully unique and brilliant.
She is one of the bravest actress I have ever seen.

Thats what I always tell people!! You can feel attacked by energy!!! Some people look at you like you are an object or low quality or like you are meat and its so icky feeling. The key is to try to be strong & not let anyone have that power over you.
You are such a breath of fresh air and today’s industry! You are an incredible actress and I love watching your movies.

Noomi is just superb! She seems to have a knack for playing really scared vulnerable people (like in The Drop), as well as the bad-ass kick boxing type (Closer). But both with serious realism and not a caricature...

Well honestly I think she's beautiful and absolutely talented, I first saw her in the girl with the dragon tattoo (not much of surprise I suppose) but yeah I'm about to watch lamb I'm sure it's going to be a superb film.
As a man I have thing for toes because my mom had so many kids wanted 20 even a boy 10 years old went 3 or 4? Schools last in Strtuthers Ohio was a three story home but little never think they are going to grow up some of brothers and sisters Cursed like me I learned from Catholic School not normal to me but total devotion is a complete blessing. Just now getting that at 57 April 30 cussing we get people mumbling about God and Jesus Christ and how they hate us in himself at 10 already scared of water too but drowning not the water but if you drink it too much too fast you swallow it too it hurts your lungs I believe we are like a centipede in the womb

We all do here in Sweden. Only thing our school teaches us is structure and writing. Thats why here in Sweden the range for talking english is 0-100. Some speak excellent english others cant even understand a word.

We don’t breathe in and out clear clean in too much pressure on the new head body lungs until first breath then as long as you swallow the water hopefully clean but if stuck you can hold your breath without damaging your body for a while even in a box or something but can break out if aiming 6 feet up with your fist or a light in your phone in your pocket
How would we as a United Society help those in a Frail environment Condition open cupboards and do dinner dishes or whatever they need to do because some people men and women alike are stubborn in their belief and don’t want to leave their houses homes no matter what happens ! "He looked at me with desire." I'm not saying he didn't, and I'm not saying she didn't feel that way, but she interpreted something and drew a conclusion about someone from a "look". This is where I get a little lost. Making assumptions about people from a look when you're 12-13 years old. Once again, I'm not saying it wasn't real to her, but her implying something more is quite presumptive. Commence throwing tomatoes.
cozyslor many women have this exact experience with the male gaze. I remember being a girl and having the exact reaction. The logistics don’t matter. You can’t deny that men look at women and many times teens. It’s intuitive as a girl to feel what that different gaze is and it sucks as a girl.
No tomatoes here. I understand why it could be confusing. The fact is, girls and women are biologically wired to recognize predatory men. We may be most aware of the look he gives us, but there are usually other subtle cues that illicit a strong instinctive response (that's why she mentioned feeling a certain energy coming from him).
Men have this instinct too. They can often tell by one look if another guy is feeling territorial or wants to fight them. It's a survival mechanism.
I highly recommend The Gift of Fear by Gavin Debecker. He's an expert on this subject. ✌
I'm a man but I will just pitch in my two cents. In my very early teens when I was attracted to boys around me, I could tell pretty easily when they were picking up that I was attracted to them. It wasn't in a way that they even necessarily acknowledged to themselves, I was never called ouf for it, but it was a subtle kind of closing off, a shift in atmosphere that said to back down. I felt that they knew they were being seen differently, and because of that I would have to check myself or risk being outed if my look wasn't ended. A few years later, when I started to become more of a handsome and outgoing kid, I knew almost overnight that girls were looking at me a different way. The weight of them looking at me was palpable, and it was something I didn't know what to do with for quite a while. I didn't want to close myself off, because I knew how bad that can feel for the other person. But I also wasn't even on top of my own sexuality, and definitely not ready for someone to actually reciprocate after I'd been pushing it down so long. All of this is just to say, that if you haven't experienced unwanted attention, or faced consequences for giving unwanted attention, it can be hard to believe how sensitive we really are to others peoples' desire. I definitely don't mean to lecture anyone, I just want to give a reminder of how much care to take with everyone around us.

@@jackh166 I'll reply to each person's comment separately. I am not an educated expert but will try to explain. Yes, men look at women. Biologically, men will be attracted to females who have reached puberty (or the age to reproduce). Culturally/Legally, we have set an age when sexual contact is allowed. This speaks to the emotional maturity (or lack thereof) of people of certain ages. Sure there are unspoken cues and "feels". Some are real and some are perceived incorrectly. So we make laws to protect humans of a certain age so they can be taken advantage of but we trust the "intuitive" qualities of a 12-13 year old? Once again, I understand the "old creepy guy" thing, but it isn't true because some woman said she "felt something."
