Nice setup! I have the Rae dual exit quad-tip catback with the Rae I-pipe.. I have the I-pipe, just waiting for the catback to arrive, but should be arriving soon(ish). I am in Batch #2 for the CBE's, which are going out very soon. Anyhow, looking forward to getting it all installed! Bought a cheap Noble axleback to make a little noise while I wait.. which doesn't sound too bad tbh!
@@wrxtuans I got the resonated version. There are 2 locals here that have the Rae CBE, one resonated and the other non-resonated. The resonated CBE had a cleaner tone and cuts out some of the 'rasp' that the non-resonated version had. Both sound great with no difference in how loud they were.. resonated just had a cleaner sound that stood out for me. 🤘🤘
What made you go from the remark single exit to the dual cans?? Asking because I originally wanted the single exit, but went with the dual canisters instead because I didn’t want to risk hating it. But now I’m wishing I went single exit first. So curious as to your take on it and why you swapped!
Hey ! Honestly i just preferred the look over anything haha. I think the dual canisters fit the rear end for vbs really well , especially if you run a duckbill over a wing.
@@wrxtuans I feel you! I get a lot of hate on the dual look from the internet, but in Person it’s nothing but love. I’m sure you get same type of responses. I’m actually about to cap off my passenger side on the midpipe and just run the R1 can on the driver side and run single exit with basically a self-resonator as the air from the passenger side flows back to the exhaust, it kills the drone.
