In 1990 I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease called eosinophilia myalgia from taking contaminated tryptophan from Showa Denko in Japan, of which a huge lawsuit settlement resulted for most of the victims. I haven't had a normal eosinophil count since 1990 until I started taking black seed oil in 2023. Had a bloodtest taken 6 months after starting black seed consumption, a teaspoon daily. The eosinophil count came back on the low end of the normal range!!! I consider this stuff to be a miracle substance in the full definition of the word miracle.

Great info. I read somewhere that black seed oil is better at raising glutathione levels by 500% more than anything other than intravenous administration. It’s also way cheaper than the nasal sprays or liposomal liquid glutathione supplements.

Dawn, here at Nootropics Expert, we don't put any faith in "I read somewhere". When you make a statement like you did please include a peer-reviewed clinical study supporting that claim. Otherwise, it's just hearsay. And please do no take offense to what I just said. Because I hear this all the time.

Think you missed this important one. It looks like a well conducted study.

Personally I like the taste. 2 ½ grams per day is my favoured dose. I was surprised at the quick effect. It may also rid the body of the spike protein but I haven’t seen a study done on that yet.

I have taken black seed oil off and on through the last few years. The biggest thing I have noticed is the “chicken skin” I have had on the back of my arms since I was a kid is gone. My son also has taken it for his eczema and it has helped with that as well.

I put a tablespoon under my tongue, then take with a gulp of coffee. I have a strong gag reflex, but this works well for me. One more drink of coffee eliminates the taste.

I don’t know what kind of black seed oil you are using, but the one that I’m using, couldn’t taste more further from gasoline. It’s aromatic and strong. Mine is organic, cold, pressed and unfiltered therefore it has all the nutrients possible in high content. The colour is dark green with black stuff you need to shake the bottle well
