Just a suggestion only, what about trying to oil & blow dry it, and plaiting it up afterwards? This was my mom's method for doing her fro when I was a kid growing up. Then when she would take it down it would be so bouncy, shiny just like a crown on her head. Then she would plait it up at night again. Your fro is beautiful also.✊🏾

With all due respect, I think you should be saying that to black women. Black men embrace their hair way more than black women do (with locs, braids e.t.c). When do you ever see a black man with hair that's not theirs??
@@BAghz00 I say those words to black women too. I am specifically speaking about his afro in this instance. But I agree, and i do stress that black women should embrace their natural hair as well.
The struggle is real 😂 that's me often; patting, picking and pulling l0L. Picking with the hand at the top of the head acting as a borderline, haha.. It gets aggravating at times, but... When you finally get the look you were going for it's worth it l0L. Nice fro btw bro
Pilot, Wow thank you! 🙏🏾 It’s funny cause in this video, I didn’t have one but I’m working towards my routine more and more now and I almost have it together but not just yet lol!
Dudley Red Welcome man and thank you for watching this! It’s been hard for me to find mens 4C hair over the years too, and I’m tryna add on to it, so my content is all for ya’ll!
Is it okay to pick out 4c hair? Mine is super, super brittle so I've just been leaving in in a nappy fro type thing for the longest time. I really want to get length/density like yours, so I'm gonna try this routine
Let me ask 3 questions even tho I can't grow an afro. Just curious. 1. How much time til you need a new trim? 2. How do you avoid the drooping afro, for example you have a chest length hair how can you keep the top up while retaining the long hair look? If it's ever possible 3. Do you ever wish it's the 80's again with glam rock and all where big hair is a thing?
Rom Alvarez, Sure! 1. I did a trim not too long ago. I don’t have a routine timing just yet, but I do want to do another trim sometime in the near future. 2. My hair naturally dries in and shrinks. On top of that, I form it so it can stand tall on my head. People with my type of hair does that. 3. I would say nah, cause times are changing and if I were around in the 80’s, I would have had to adapt to a lot of difficult things and times. But music wise, that would be cool to experience because that was a memorable time for music and other cool things, but as far as being in that time, I wouldn’t do it. Lol, those were some good questions! 👌🏾 Thank you for your curiosity, you made me think on this one! 🤣 Thanks for watchin this too!
Zell the lone wolf Lol, I’ve definitely heard that one before.. I’ve been growin mine out for about 10 years. It’s good to keep it twisted tho, that’s one of my favorites ways I was able to get growth!

The Afro is BACK. Hallelujah!!
This was so beautiful to watch. Only we have hair that defies gravity and reaches towards the heavens. I pray that more black men embrace their hair and the fro like you young king!
Do you use a wooden pick also? or do you just use the metal pick. And if you have used both, do you notice the difference?
mane jack, I’ve never used a wooden one. Although, I’ve been wanting to try that out for a while now. Only metal and plastic.
This video is so satisfying to watch 😭❤️❤️
By far the BEST afro tutorial I've ever seen! Do you have a method/routine to moisturizing your scalp when it's in this style?
This Afro is so LIT 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Iam a female with 4c hair.....I've to say this is beautiful to watch❤🤗
Your hair is so beautiful
Melissa Anthony, Thank you! 🙏🏾
The struggle is real 😂 that's me often; patting, picking and pulling l0L. Picking with the hand at the top of the head acting as a borderline, haha.. It gets aggravating at times, but... When you finally get the look you were going for it's worth it l0L. Nice fro btw bro
Skin routine next? You're glowing bro
Pilot, Wow thank you! 🙏🏾 It’s funny cause in this video, I didn’t have one but I’m working towards my routine more and more now and I almost have it together but not just yet lol!

Ahh, Thank you so much! I don’t really plan on growing my beard out too much tho..
@@FroJohnson Thanks Kuron, thought 4" long for the beard, you aren't far from that now I would think? Anyhow it looks great. Keep videos coming. 🧔
I’ve never really thought to grow it out too long, but thank you! and I will try lol
@@FroJohnson That's great Kuron, will go so well with the 'fro.
FINALLY a guy with the same hair texture as mine that I can follow to gain maximum hair growth! 💪🏾💯🐐
Bushido Brown!!!
How long did it take get your hair to that length? Not sure if I should just give up on growth I might be getting too old
Great fro! I appreciated all the tips that you gave. I'll update this comment if I try it...successfully😂
Portrait of Asha, Thank you so much! Please give me an update and let me know how it came out! 🤣👌🏾
I’m subbing this the first person I’ve seen with hair that actually looks like mine. And you look my older brother but with 4c hair instead of 3c/4a
Dudley Red Welcome man and thank you for watching this! It’s been hard for me to find mens 4C hair over the years too, and I’m tryna add on to it, so my content is all for ya’ll!
Nice tutorial. How long did it take you to grow your hair to this level?
Josh, Thank you! 🙌🏾 I’ve been growing my hair for about 10 years, but I do trims to keep down the length.
I’m growing an Afro! Tomorrow I’ll be 3 months in. I plan on cutting it when my hair starts to visibly fade away but until then it’s Fro time!
Now that’s an Afro!
I've been looking all over for this
"can I touch your hair"
ssssSTopmotion 🤣🤣🤣
Kuron J how long have you been growing it?
can I? mfs don't even ask got my head boiling
Is it okay to pick out 4c hair? Mine is super, super brittle so I've just been leaving in in a nappy fro type thing for the longest time. I really want to get length/density like yours, so I'm gonna try this routine
Handsome as hell 😍😍
Let me ask 3 questions even tho I can't grow an afro. Just curious.
1. How much time til you need a new trim?
2. How do you avoid the drooping afro, for example you have a chest length hair how can you keep the top up while retaining the long hair look? If it's ever possible
Bro u resemble andre 3000 how long u been growing your hair it seem like my afro won't grow unless I get it twisted for 1 month
Zell the lone wolf Lol, I’ve definitely heard that one before.. I’ve been growin mine out for about 10 years.
It’s good to keep it twisted tho, that’s one of my favorites ways I was able to get growth!
