I’m still trying to figure this out too! I think it’s the difference between your bust and underbust (in this case 6 inches) divided by 2 which is 3 inches… so 1.5 inch dart intake on both sides? Can anyone help? I have been struggling with this forever. So many tutorials use random dart intakes without explaining why/ how it relates to the cup size

Thanks for the tutorial. After drafting the cup you went ahead to add the body measurements but on the BP, you only added two inches allowance. You didn’t replace the small dart (1 inch) taken along the chestline to the two inches added to the bust as allowance . Will that affect the measurements or it’s not a problem?

Go back and watch when she cut out the cups, you'll understand better
