Brother, thanks for your videos I have learned a lot, you explain very well, you made me love the maschine mk3 that I had abandoned. A big hug and don't stop teaching.
Only Thing I Wish Is That Maschine Would Just Allow You To Mute A Sound In A Pattern Like On An MPC Instead Of Having To Delete Them! Its A Quicker Arrangement In My Opinion! Great Video Bro. I Use Your Template For My Setup!
I 100% agree! That’s why I’m transitioning to using Cubase for Arranging. If they added a few features like that I think it would make life a lot easier! Thank you commenting!
Yes idk why they drag they're feet on stuff like that makes zero sense to me this partly why I just bought the MPC studio to get into the AKAI ecosystem I need faster work flow and not being able to drag a MP3 into a session is pain smh
The whole SCENE, 1/16, 1 Bar, SYNC option?? BROOOO!!! I had NOOO idea that even existed in that way!! Had never even seen it. In the MPC World that I came from, seeing it that way never existed to me! Thank you VERRRRY much for providing this much needed info! Id NEVER heard of a CLIP before. 🤯😳!!!! The automation part of it went clean over my head at the moment, but im sure that you have a video for it. Great stuff my Bro! Once again, you DEFINITELY are serving a purpose!
Hey bro thank you for commenting!! Im glad this video helped you out😁 When I learned the Sync option and Clips it was literally a game changer for me as well. It makes arranging in Maschinr so much easier. I do have a video on automation. I think this takes performing to a different level! Again bro thanks for commenting and hit me up if you need any help with anything 😊 ua-cam.com/video/azJRzuUR1Pw/v-deo.html
I have seen many tutorials from a variety of presenters. Your explanation is an easy-to-follow example of the workflow that has helped me to up my Machine game. I could make some suggestions I would like to do that if possible one-on-one. I am a video producer as well. Good job, and thank you for your expert knowledge and for taking the time to make the videos.
Hey thank you so much for your positive kind words!🙏🏾🙏🏾😊😊 I would love to connect with you one on one and hear your suggestions. You can follow me on IG @ creativedwill and message me on there so we can talk😊

I've been using FL Studio since '99, but taught myself Maschine during quarantine. I never thought about changing all of the patterns into clips, but I discovered by accident to use clips to create mutes on the patterns if that makes sense. Great vid!
That makes perfect sense! Yea using clips make arranging so much easier! I use to hate to arrange in Maschine before they added that feature. Still kinda do hate arranging in Maschine but it much more Bearable lol😂
@@creativedwill i like how you do this and will incorporate this. I had fun digging through your videos. I learned some things and was like "ooooooh, that's how you do that!" Lol

Great video. I've had Maschine for years. I mainly an MPC guy but Maschine is my second alternative and this video definitely showed me some useful techniques that I'm gonna incorporate into my workflow. Thank you for sharing brother. That clips feature is really dope and I love how you routed the groups to other groups and added the automation. Also didn't know what that append feature was for so thanks for shedding light on that. God bless.
Thank you I appreciate it!! 🙏🏾 Yea I plan to eventually invest in a MPC. I have always wanted one and I have been interested in the work flow. The Maschine is super dope once you get use to it. That append feature is definitely a life saver! Thanks again for commenting and if have any specific video you want me to do please let me know.
Hey thank you commenting!🙏🏾 all you have to do is place a clip before the Hook and ad the drums you want. I typically just copy my drum group/ pattern and convert it to a clip and take out what I don’t want and adjust the clip length
I thi k if u hold shift or command while u move a clip it will move freely. I seen someone do it like that. Without having to put it on 1/16 or whatever the clip will move freely so u can be surgical with a drop or whatever sound it is.
@@creativedwill I got one more question bro I know you tired of me Say if a fx to bring in the the hook instead do i move back the hook a lil bit then put the fx right before the hook come in
Hey bro, lol naw I’m tired of you man.. this is what this channel and platform is for to help out others in the community. No you shouldn’t have to move the hook. You should just be able to put the effect right before the hook to transition into the hook. As far as volume automation I would have to do a video and show you how it’s done it’s a little to hard to explain. Are you on IG if so Follow me on @creativedwill
I love maschine but they need a massive update and need to get with the times like other daws its quite a few things that need to be improved and updated to simplify things for the creator last thing I want to do is to have to think about things when I'm creating I just want things to flow....
Hey thank you so much for commenting l!!🙏🏾🙏🏾 Yea i feel you! There are a few things they can definitely update to make the workflow easier. Again thank you for commenting!!!😊
@@creativedwill , I prepare the basic arrangement-loop in the maschine (lets say, A - pre drop - B etc). Then I set each instrument to send midi to a daw (reaper in my case) and receive it back from there. And then I just jam via mutes while rec is on ( you can also record automation this way, have to activate output of CC to the host though). Obviously, its a pain in the arse to do it this way. Really gravitating towards buying Push 2 to jam the arrangement out with no hassle.
@@creativedwill crazy question. I thought maschine was up to 2.14. But I keep hearing about maschine 2.8. What is the difference am I that far behind and need to update to 2.8 or what
Hey thank you for commenting. The lastest update for the Maschine Software is 2.15. There isn’t an update yet for the Maschine Plus. I am not sure out 2.8 I haven’t heard anything about this. They just released 2.15 a few weeks ago

Yes if you have the Maschine Software. Button layout on the hardware maybe a little different but the software side of things are pretty much the same
