Sir, you are an excellent math teacher. I'm 17 and home schooled and am about two or 3 years behind. I am living and breathing math every day. Videos like this makes it fun and easier. Just remember when you teach simplifying each step is the best way for us to understand it. Your helping a lot. Home schooled kids like my self have to self motivate to learn everything. You sir make it look easy, but you do go a bit fast. But there's a pause button. Thanks and keep educating.

The square bracket means "include" that number. The rounded parenthesis mean "don't include" that number. I hope this helps!

I like how you teach math. My younger and I actually understand what math you go through. Right now, we are on absolute value ptoblems. It makes sense now. I do have a question about the ones where all real numbers are the answer. So, you don't have to plot the two points that you get when you solve the two equations?

Hmmm I'm not so sure about the problem starting at around the 22 minute mark.
    |5x| < -7 does have solutions. It's either 5x < -7 and 5x > 7 which simplifies to
    x < -7/5 or x > 7/5
