Sir, you are an excellent math teacher. I'm 17 and home schooled and am about two or 3 years behind. I am living and breathing math every day. Videos like this makes it fun and easier. Just remember when you teach simplifying each step is the best way for us to understand it. Your helping a lot. Home schooled kids like my self have to self motivate to learn everything. You sir make it look easy, but you do go a bit fast. But there's a pause button. Thanks and keep educating.
You have become my professor! Haha, my college professor just.. omigoodness. not even going to go there. Thank you so much! You have helped me so much. SO much.
The coolest teacher ever, I am not in positition to donate as if now. But if I pass the job exams I will surely denote. Thank you so much. I wish I could join your classes.
plan to go to college and I don't. no any algebra thanks God for these class. I believe I will make all excellent grades in college thanks you. Pamela Lloyd
I Hope you read all of this but I just would like you to know that you are an AMAZING TEACHER and I wish you were a college professor. I am a freshman in college and I really struggle with these, well USED to .I watched this video once ! and I understood immediately. I love how fun you make math because believe me I HATE it. Noone is able to explain it . Your Little Helpers are sooooo smart haha. Cheers to them ! && Kepp it up ! P.S If you could do discriminate property that would be awesome ! Thanks again
i love this guyyyy lol he made math look so funnnn lol i can understand him more then my teacher haha i actually enjoying learning math now! lol he is a genius!
This is fabulous! I keep seeing resources that just give the short cut. This explanation is awesome! thanks!!! Definitely trying to show this to my students!!!

Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you... I am watching your nideo from Italy and i really enjoyed of that. Thank you 100000000000, hahahah
I like how you teach math. My younger and I actually understand what math you go through. Right now, we are on absolute value ptoblems. It makes sense now. I do have a question about the ones where all real numbers are the answer. So, you don't have to plot the two points that you get when you solve the two equations?
Hi, syudent from the UK, long time watcher first time commenter. I have a math exam tommorow and I was wondering: what is the best way to recall information? I ask because I seem to forget pretty quickly, which may be because I am a workoholic. thanks for the videos :)
Hmmm I'm not so sure about the problem starting at around the 22 minute mark. |5x| < -7 does have solutions. It's either 5x < -7 and 5x > 7 which simplifies to x < -7/5 or x > 7/5
why did he not change the sign to positive 7 on the last problem? He kept it as 5x > -7. I thought whenever you change the inequality sign you have to change the number sign.
I LOVE that the kids were so engaged!! This teacher makes the students LOVE to learn and it makes it so much more fun to learn with them.

The square bracket means "include" that number. The rounded parenthesis mean "don't include" that number. I hope this helps!
You are seriously be the first teacher to ever be able communicate math to me! Thank you!
what a fun class. wish it was like this in college, only had one cool ass teacher so far. keep the videos coming!
Great explanation of "or" and "and" with non-math related examples.
Thank you! I think that definitely helps, to use life examples students can wrap their minds around.
Omg all the teachers should be like you, seriously! that was fun!
If only my middle and high school math teachers had been like this guy. The only memory I have of them is how miserable they were.
Thank you so much, as somebody who had struggled for math their whole life you have helped me a lot. I love your energy, and you are so supportive.
You've clearly and cleverly explained about the absolute/inequalities. You are an excellent teacher and thank you!
You have become my professor! Haha, my college professor just.. omigoodness. not even going to go there. Thank you so much! You have helped me so much. SO much.

In 3 minuted and 18 seconds you had already teach me more then the hours in math class........ Thank you so much. I mean it.
at 26:21 was confusing me because i thought you didn't change the sign, but it should read -3 + -10 = -13
Well well well hello there
Hey there
i love this guyyyy lol he made math look so funnnn lol i can understand him more then my teacher haha i actually enjoying learning math now! lol he is a genius!

Hi, syudent from the UK, long time watcher first time commenter. I have a math exam tommorow and I was wondering: what is the best way to recall information? I ask because I seem to forget pretty quickly, which may be because I am a workoholic.
thanks for the videos :)
THANK YOU for this! Absolute values confused me so much!
The last inequality, when he subtracted 10 from both sides, the sign should have flipped right? since it was
No. You only flip the sign when you multiply or divide both sides by a negative number.
Danielle Byrd Cool. Thanks
You are the boss man
Hlo sir I just wanted 2 ask that this topic is for the student of which standard or for which year student
why is the expression inside absolute values signs taken out
It all makes sense now
13:09 14:18 17:13 28:40
is that interval notation??
yayyy math . thanks alot
Wish I had you as a teacher make math seem easier
I will very gratefull to u for this favour
sir in your country Which grade is this taught in ??
youre my king
Can you put some key notes sometimes on hard topics in you descriptions please?
HighFiveGuy13 Hi HighFiveGuy! All notes available on yaymath.org, under Videos. Thank you for asking!
So how would you solve something like -2 > 3(x+1) + 1 ≤ 2 ?
That means your lines are extending from 8 to infinity (positive infin), and your other line is extending from - infinity to -5.
Sir, my doubt is, your trick doesn't somehow apply to this problem ((x^2-7|x|+10/(x^2-6x+9))
You can also write the "And" problemes like -12 > x > 12
may u please make a video for 3d geometry.
Hmmm I'm not so sure about the problem starting at around the 22 minute mark.
|5x| < -7 does have solutions. It's either 5x < -7 and 5x > 7 which simplifies to
x < -7/5 or x > 7/5
Open means that on of them is greater or less than and not equal to. Close means that they are greater or less than or equal.
How would you solve │x^2+4│≥ 5x ?
how to learn thank you
why did he not change the sign to positive 7 on the last problem? He kept it as 5x > -7. I thought whenever you change the inequality sign you have to change the number sign.
thanks sir
Dear Sir, How to find the Absolute Value Inequalities of this ?
please provide me the step of answer
-5 < 3 - 2x ≤ 7
im confused on what way the lines are shaded on the number line :/
this made my day :)
