Excellent information. Would you do a video of How to differentiate Maypan from Pacific Tall or Atlantic Tall. I have 2 which I don’t know the lineage of. I bought them as Fiji dwarf but they are not since the 3rd I purchased was a Fiji Dwarf and it looks different. I am thinking either Maypan or a tall variety.
Hey, I enjoyed the video. Last week I purchased and planted 8 newly germinated coconut palms from Lowes. I have no idea what type they are. They were cheap, so what the heck, no big investment if they fail. Do you have you any idea what type they are? Thank you!
I would venture to say it is the Green Malayan coconut. But maybe give Lowes a call and speak to store manager ask them for their supplier's plant list😀🪴
Hi! I have a small coconut about two feet tall, and there are a few fronds that have slowly turned yellow and partly brown. Is it alright to prune them off?

Hi, yes you can trim the brown and yellow ones off . But keep any green fronds. 😀🪴
