I e been using pendulum for 23 years but the last six months it kicked into high gear when I came to realize I wasn’t just able to access my inner knowing and higher self but my whole spirt team, passed on loved ones and other souls. I did have a few rough weeks of discernment when a lost soul and some lower energies stepped in with some trickery so just note that in some cases it can open up vortexes and portals and more can come through. It was a learning process. I learned protection practices and how to tell the difference when information that sounds like truth really is twisted.
I have a fun pendulum tool taught to me by an old cowboy. Yes, it was really an old bowlegged cowboy. I tried it with my friend's 5 horse and it was 100% on. You need a glass of water. Leave about 2" space at the top. Don't fill it to the brim. He told me you needed to use a ring made of gold so I did. My friend took a horse hair from the tails of hr 5 horses and she knew which was which but I did not. You tie the hair to the ring. Use it like a pendulum and hold it over the glass and it will clink the side of the glass for each year of the horses life! It's a fun thing to do but the old cowboy used it whenever he looked at a horse to buy!
I use a pendulum almost daily to interact with my spiritual team, my GA, AA, Family who’ve crossed over. It’s amazing! Last night a G-Grandmother I’ve never met (she passed before I was born) stepped forward to have a chat. We are never alone. ❤️
Same here, since I first tried it I started getting paragraphs from my recently deceased parents and spirit guides. It’s amazing. Sometimes they help me find things but mostly give me love and advice. I don’t need anything special. It could be a shoelace or anything that dangles. They are right here with us.

The key to pendulums is to not be in your head, not fear the answers or want a certain answer, just be as a child and be inquisitive ❤
A massage therapist once used a pendulum to see which essential oil she should use on me and she would put my finger over each bottle until we got the right one.

If you aren't sure about what MJ means when she says "using a tool can help". It's a lot like needing glasses. I can see things, quite clearly, in certain focal ranges. But sometimes, I need glasses. The glasses are a tool to see what is there. They don't change it, but they help you focus. I have not used a pendulum since a healing touch class. I’ve been doing any Reiki for 22-23 years. It’s a combination of the 2.
