is it really though? without the consumable the rate of fire isnt very good, even though the fire chance is. That and your range isnt that great so you run the risk of getting hit back pretty easily as long as people know to lead their shots against you a bit more.

In other words, these French DDs are basically France looking at the concept of the Soviet Union making their DDs like light cruisers and said, "that looks like a great idea!", at least for WG.
Edit: French DDs are for captains who have skill and balls of steel that would make Riddick himself proud.

The French destroyers in WoWs aren’t really destroyers they are destroyer leaders. Big destroyers designed to lead flotillas we probably will get a more traditional destroyer line in the future

By the way the Le Fantasque class were also commissioned the same year as the Leningrad class. As for the others, Tashkent laid down in 1937, commissioned in 1940 ; Mogador class : laid down in 1934, commissioned in 1939.

This video should be mandatory to watch for all those who plays French DD. ON EU Server the most common mistake of those "skilled" players is to sit at 12 km and raining fire on BB instead of hunting enemies DDs. Wich inevitably end in enemy cap all zones and quicky end the game.
The playerbase is becoming worst and worst at least on EU Server.

What kind of a build are you running on that bad boy? I see your range is 12.8, so you are definitely not running AFT, are you using IFHE or are you just using a bunch of Tier 3 skills and have concealment slapped on top of that?
