IMO, All of her string instrument concertos are masterworks. I'd love to hear what she would do with a Viola Concerto. A challenging commission for sure.
I must admit, first of all, that I lack the capacity to compare the composer's two violin concertos in any technical way. I can only say that I enjoy both very much; they're so rich in imagination.
I'm listening again and again to this new violin concerto... I have to say that it deserves to be listened to many times and in a very deep way, with so detailed score... and I'm finding it so rich and precious...
@@PalumboComposer Concerning dramaturgy, there is a „surface“ that is relatively easy to perceive. But only in this way is it possible to create surprises for the listener, and there certainly are. Will listen to the whole piece later!

This is music? It could be improved by employing more than 12 notes per octave. The 12-note system is long dead, yet this noise continues to rely on it. Imagine - paying all of these superb orchestral musicians to engage in such nonsense. But we must not forget - we are living on a LOST planet.

Magnifique ! Merci 🌈
The very start kind of reminds of Prologue by Grisey
…@Vito a.o.: But it must also be said that her first violin concerto was an extreme stroke of genius. It almost does not get better than that….

Ms Chin is becoming more reflective, less the firebrand.
Well, fair enough. She is in her 60s now!
너무 낯설다
음악은 들어서 즐거워야한다. 불협화음의 연속.. 오래전 세종에서 세계초연 바이올린 쏠로를 들은적있는데 몬 듣겠더라.
