Their first album actually did well, was on streaming for years but the label shut down & it was taken off, they only just recently added it again so there’s less streams in comparison. The music is on par with their previous work, just more raw & less mainstream, they’re making music to have a creative outlet, it’s not like they need it to be successful, they’ve made plenty of money already

I was shocked by how he deteriorated in his skill. I suppose it's drugs' influence which had revealed by that time. He didn't catch any sharp note while was singing Bring Em Down. He simply stopped to make as significant efforts as earlier. Only in my opinion. By the way it's weird to realize that at the moment of this video shooting he already perpetrated everything he was indicted in.
If you take a close look at the other band members you will see no one looks a least a bit happy. They don't even smile. They knew what was going on I think. Or at least they knew the band is over.
They didn't know about the sexual stuff or the severity of it, but Ian had been on a steady decline outside of the sick pedo shit for some time that all the other members had to deal with. In an interview I remember reading about shortly after the band broke up, one of them called him a "constant miserable challenge" or something similar.

As the saying goes, “there are monsters hidden among us”.
