The new motor for the Full Send Turbo Civic will be a fully built big turbo LS VTEC engine and my power goal is 500WHP! I am so excited for this build because over the years I have built and blown motors left and right. This time I am going to apply everything I've learned over the years and make something truly incredible. Also, this motor is going to be a monster with the new turbo kit that we built a few months ago. I'm so excited to get this car up and running and drive it to the Automotion Car show in Milwaukee Wisconsin on May 21-22. Link to evet FB group below!

I get it that a stock piston motor etc etc breaks I tune and build Hondas for a living but if u keep melting Pistons u either have a fucked up fuel system or the tune is way to aggressive .. I've tuned numerous 350 to 400 stock piston bseries setups that last a long time .. good luck man love that u never give up .. I was the same way years ago .

Man this got me hyped!! Been running the turbo b20v for a while on gate at 10psi. This vid makes me want to finish my css b18 block. How do you like the manley rods? I was thinking of the wiseco pistons and either the callies rods or saenz rods
So far the Manley rods have been holding up. No complaints. They’ve survived onto their third motor lol. How far into your build are you?
@@boosted_john i have a fully built b16 head already on the b20v. I have the css already done. Just needs to be bored to 82mm. I got a stock b18b crank as well. I just need to get the pistons and rods and bearings ect. I know with my current fuel set up i will probably run out of fuel at around 400hp. So was planning to upgrade that and axles once i finish the motor and swap it in. The turbo kit i have should be good for around 600 or so.but will probably keep it around 4-500 for street
@@boosted_john also reason i was thinking about the callies rods was because 4 piston racing has a deal for rods and pistons for about 1k

Awesome video as always!!! Wait your gsr transmission broke? You have to piece two of them back together??? How hard is it to open and check a transmission? My gsr trans won’t go into 1st or 2nd and I’m tempted in opening it up to see what’s wrong with it before I take it to the shop lmao! I’m hyped for the new build!! And btw I called it in the other video talking about the civics future Lmaoo :D

Make sure they gave you ring gap this time. That was one of your issues last time. E85, and a good tune. The video of you racing the camaro you was running into the 10s on your afrs. That's not good. You want 11.5-11.8
I drive my 530wheel boosted gsr daily. And beat on it daily.
Stock head, manly rods, nippon pistons, wiseco rings, arps, that's it. 10.5cr, e85, 19psi with a goautowork ramhorn manifold and maxpeedingrod gt35.
Ring gap is insanely important and will kill boosted engines everytime
I agree bc a css with forged internals should last so long on 500 hp

That's awesome John! I know the journey. However I've gone from stock, to issues, to built, to issues, now on my 3rd built, but it's just refreshing a junkyard block on a budget until I get my forged pistons in. Peep my channel!
So how did you spend 14k on parts on the engine like the video you posted a year ago? None of that makes any sense 5k gets you 500whp in a D series lol, you might want to change your "friends".
