Bionicle Heroes is a 3D third person shooter video game. The game was released in November 2006 by Traveller's Tales on PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Nintendo GameCube, Microsoft Windows and by Amaze Entertainment on Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS, a Nintendo Wii version was later released in April 2007. The game stars Bionicle's 2006 feature characters, the Toa Inika and the Piraka. However, the game also features enemies from previous years. Players must destroy enemies, solve puzzles in order to progress further, and throughout the game, maximize their individual special powers and gain better and deadlier weapons.

The gun sound is so nostalgic holy shit
It's insane how much the graphics improve when you just add anti aliasing and upgrade it to high res. The devs really understood the hardware and did the best with it, this game deserves so much more love

Bionicle heroes had a very interesting situation the GameBoy advance SP version is essentially a contra clone. Avery well done contra clone and then you have the DS version which is very reminiscent of doom.

This game has some one of the best graphics and soundtrack of any DS game. I like how they have guns with alternate fire, which they didn’t have in the console version. and Hero mode wasn’t as big of a problem as the console version. Too bad the same problem of infinite respawns still existed and took away the challenge of the game. The biggest battle was fighting the controls because of how janky the stylus was to aim with, and A B X Y to look is clunky, but at least it was consistent enough.
You were supoosed to aim with the touchpad. A B X Y were the alt controls
@@ripeto6497 Yeah, I know. The way the stylus is registered in the touchpad in that game is very inconsistent and janky though.

The huge coliseum and the whatever bird soundfx those are, makes head hot from the amount of hype I get. Best game ever felt so immersive back in the day, I feel so spoiled for the games I play now.

Hey! great video :D ive been trying to play the game but DeSmuME wont show the text on the menus and more on screen stuff is missing, ive tried changing the renderer and even updating my drivers but it still wont show up, any idea on what i could do? thanks!

I've got a problem with this game that I currently can't find a workaround for:
Everything that's being displayed on the non-touch display is fine (except for Golden Toa charge-up bar, that's glitching out, but stays where it's supposed to be) - so far, so good.
Now, I've got display glitches for the touchable weapon/toa icons in-level - same with the animation next to the LEGO-pieces counter ; yet those work as intended.
The REAL problem is the MENU SCREENS - all the text likes to either not BE present on any screen, or it's cuddling together just below the upper edge of the touch-screen. Backgrounds are fine, but I have to practically MOSTLY blindly navigate those menu screens using the D-Pad along with A and B, because the highlighting on the touch-screen does not work either.
I'm using DesmuMe X432R 64-bit version 2015.04.19, because the 32-bit version doesn't run it sometimes or crashes whenever it likes to.
I've been trying to find a picture of the menu screen where you can change the sound settings, but Google gave me anything BUT that.
Can you help me?

How did you configure your control to play?, in the DS you must use the touchscreen, but on PC you cant.

I played 100 hours minimum on this game thought...
I love to see someone trying to playing this game well I'm kinda are trying to solving a problem and that is the touchscreen jump trying to see if that can work in a other way as well then style by just a press.

I found every collectible in the game to unlock the cheats except for that single one that looks like an evil smiling face to unlock this makuta mode, and i think no one has found out how to get it yet, i found nothing online.
