"No providers within 50 miles." I don't remember discussing this when I signed on. Will not return my phone calls. I think maybe I've been taken advantage of.
@BoomerBenefits Yes, originally I signed up for part B through Boomer Benefits- a Humana Choice Plan for diabetes/heart failure. What I received when seaching for a pcp was 'no providers within 50 miles'- and they want to deduct 2 premiums from my next check. There are more questionable actions going on but Boomer Benefits isn't responsible for any of it. I've moved on- God Bless.
We aren’t on Medicare yet so this won’t affect us right now but it is disappointing to hear. We have virtually appointments all the time. I have one doctor I see twice a year virtually and it’s worked out great. Fortunately our current insurance covers them with no problem but I foresee trouble when we switch to Medicare.
Does this include advantage plans? And what about medical practices that send med techs to your house and do video calls with a nurse or doctor? Since I don’t drive when I found out about this medical place I became a patient. They do have a brick and mortar clinic tho. I have quite a few medical issues that need frequent care.
Medicare Advantage plans should be able to make rules that work for the plan. It would be best to check with your doctor and see how they are coding your visits to see if they are medically necessary.
I don't see a link in comments?

We hope to see changes but if not, exceptions can be made and hopefully your doctor can help with that!
