The official version has an opening guitar riff so powerful it could peel the Atmosphere! Incredible Treble guitar 🎸 sound by Steve Jones! This is a good version too!
Final result of the mix is a perfection. Additionnal backing vocals, drums rolls & guitar layers (and of course increasing the speed of the music) changed it all...
@@sparkygroover Have you tried jamming to Spunk bootleg? I gave up. Don't know why the notes are down, as Lydon's singing pitch sounds normal. Some songs are stuck between semitones. "This Is Crap". Yes.
“They called them ‘foul mouth yobs!’ But the notes that really count, are the ones that come in wads! 💷💷💷!” I beg you pardon, I couldn’t help myself. 😎
Version 1 is great. You can play along with it. Someone earlier mentioned that someone messed with the tape speed on version 2 so you can't play along with it but version 2 sounds more like the Bollocks version. On NMTB you could play along with all the songs.
@SexPistolsArchives Yeah, its still pretty cool to hear the rawness of em before final production. I wish they would of released a new mixed version NMTB with Glens basslines on it when they did the 2007-2008 reunion, that would of been awsome.
@tatethompson1234 Yeah, they're both from the 'Party Till You Puke' CD (which you'll probably have). Most are very close to finalised versions and just lacking a few overdubs or whatever. The odd one or two ARE the actual NMTB tracks ('Bodies' for instance certainly) but will just have happened to be on the same tape reel that was copied and finally made the boot. Some of the versions of tracks are noticeably different but some are almost (if not totally) identical to what ended up on NMTB.
Great guitar tone.
First version is a demo or alternate take ,no backing vocals,2 nd version is nmtb version
Cook + Jones = sublime groove and tightness

Tuning's strange on this. Like the song Antmusic on the guitars. Backing vox : "EMI!" brilliant.
@@Kelly14UK which is why I can never jam along with the song. I have to retune my guitar just for this song dammit :D
@@sparkygroover Yeah you got to tighten the strings about a half a semi tone up or something

The first one is the studio version without the overdubs and final touches and what not.
