Lovely boat, lovely configuration. But….I’m watching this from Canada’s west coast while I “shop” for my live-aboard, passage maker trawler! I need everything to be enclosed for cold weather - no washer/dryer on the boat deck! And…..I need a serious pilot house! If I lived in a single season environment, this 45’ would be marvellous. For my application it’s just not a feasible craft. Peace
Looks like a helm may have been removed from the Lounge area, just because the windows are there. Also, is the Port/Starboard balance OK, since one side has the fridge, oven, cooktop, aft BR stairway, etc ?

I didn't realise it was legal to live onboard a boat in Australia. I thought all states and territories in Australia had laws that meant you cannot use a boat as you primary or sole residence?

Hi Tony, thanks for your interest and comment. I guess its a lot cheaper than buying you own home at this time with house prices so high in this area of Australia. More a more people are starting to live on yachts and boats so its a current trend and probably will be for some time. The bonus is that you live in a nice environment on the water with plenty of fresh air and sunshine. A house on the water would cost $$$ millions now...
Very nice, but just not big enough for our family. We've got five regular residents plus a couple of adult kids who come home to visit pretty often; we need at least three cabins and a couple of things that can transition into beds in an emergency on top of that. Nice if you're just a couple with occasional visitors, though.
Hi Alfred, thank you for your interest and comment. This boat is located in Queensland, Australia and adheres to local safety rules. Firstly the gas bottles are latched to the base plates. Both the gas bottles and gas boiler are located on the top deck of the boat so not really sure how any escaping gas would find its way into the bilge 4 levels below. Also they are in the open so full ventilation. The installation of the system requires both compliance and a gas safety certificate by a licensed gas installer. Please note that this boat is primarily used as a live aboard and hence some of the domestic style appliances. I hope that answers your questions.

interesting boat, is that a river cruzer or can it go in the ocean? I mostly just watch aquaholic videos, and they have trawers or sunseeker type boats that are more fiberglass

It's a beauty! The scowl I lived on smelled like fish but we had a nice galley, hot tub, huge library of DVD's and we worked 18 hours a day.
