@@absolutentity Unmetered wifi (normal wifi) will reblock the SIM if used. Simply start from the beginning and reset to factory settings and follow all the steps in the video, then before conecting to a wifi network in the internet settings, go to advance settings and you should find the metered connection option. Mobile data will not be affected as long as the wifi connection is metered. Cheers.
It worked for few hours and now it's relocked, didn't use wifi at all. Is it because I'm on Android 14 beta? Help!
@@absolutentity It could very well be that. I have android 13 on my pixel 7 and it´s working perfectly. Try android 13 and avoid any betas.

Do this procedure again and when connecting to wifi network, on advance tab, set it as "treat as meterd"!
@@nikoladrazenovic2859 yup i know that method as well, but after some time it stops working. You need to use netguard to block internet but u can never use a vpn again .. luckily i unlocked my phone officialy via atnt

Do not update to A14 beta 4 because they will lose the unlock, they can update to A14 beta 3 after that it will not let them unlock.

@@absolutentity no. you'll need to stay on 13 or buy an unlocked phone. i got mine unlocked to avoid the dumb risks of it locking
