- This is Mario Jurisic´s Audi A4 STW, driven by his 20 year old son Matija, a real ex-Works chassis and one of the last Audi A4 Touring Cars still competing on Europe. With almost 300Hp/8.750Rpm from its 2.0L Naturally Aspirated engine (based on the ABF block) moving only 980Kg. Here it can be seen attacking Skradin hillclimb during the last Bongo Hillclimb Monsters where it placed among the 10 Fastest Monsters of the event.
This is Chassis SF37, built on 1998 by Audi Sport originally as a FWD Touring Car machine for Christian Abt, but was later converted into a 4wd Quattro machine in 1999 (with a certain Mattias Ekstrom driving it that season...).
Through the years it belonged to Kristoffersson Motorsport and used in the Swedish Championship, raced later on Serbian Hillclimbing by Goran Asanovic, and most famously spending an incredibly successful period period being run in the Spanish Hillclimb Championship by José Antonio López-Fombona, being at the time one of the most successful duos in all of Spanish Hillclimbing. Shortly acquired by Greek hillclimb team Cabilis Performance, it would later be purchased by Keith Butcher and run in the 2017 HSCC Super Touring Car Challenge, finally being sold to Mr. Jurišić at the end of 2017. - Авто та транспорт

Love the sound of this car, it's amazing. What's odd (unless the mic was on low) this car sounds better from outside whereas mine (very different car) sounds better from the inside. I used to own a Mk3 golf with an ABF , if it sounded like this I would never have sold it 😂

I'd watch the BTCC as a kid on a Sunday during the 90s, i loved all the cars then, but this A4 in the Silver with Red rings was one of my favourites. It still is a proper race car. Good memories.
The only thing that needed for this car back in the day is a quality video/sound equipment that can give us the exact feeling that this car provides. The best engine sound by far.

It's most likely a different chassis. Andi Marko was running his A4 STW in hillclimb throughout the last 10 or so years while this car seems to have had multiple owners in this period.

Good question...we´ll have to confirm with the driver...
The other handles are for antiroll-bar adjustment front and rear. It helps even out the balance of the car on the go, you can see me using it on my Dubrovnik video, cheers!
I’d love to a see a video about the motor in this thing. I feel like I read it has a motorcycle head on it? Like a Busa head? I know it’s based off the 2.0l 16v ABF, but not sure beyond that.

Am I being stupid or is that helmet cam footage sped up slightly?
Matija (the driver and who sent us the footage) is here in the comments. He can tell you it isn't.
Being this said, this is something we've been asked in the past on similar videos and we have an idea why it feels like it. Outside footage is shot at 50+fps and the onboard sent to us is 25fps. When mashing up all together and normalizing everything to 50fps, the onboard has this "skip a beat" sort of look to it.
It's not, would even say it feels a bit faster in real life. First time I tried the car I couldn't even process the speed of it. Crazy fast cars and amazing to drive as well.

So I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but how do these people drive seemingly at the limit? Do they try their best to memorize sections, or is this really just bold and blind driving?
(Not saying it isn’t bold if they memorize it. Even if they do that, this is nuts)
you memorize the track by heart
Every track is fully memorised, would be really hard to do it blindly😅
You learn the track/course like anyone who has ever entered a race.
