- We’re currently in the last phase of a gold bull rally, and this phase will see the most upside action, this according to Frank Giustra, chairman of Leagold.
“I think we’re in the third and final phase of the gold market that’s started in 2001, and this will be the most explosive phase for gold,” Giustra told Kitco News.

Excellent interview. The most important statement Frank made is that there could and will be upheaval in many cities. Starvation, small scale wars ect. Daniella seemed shocked to hear that, so not many realize this fact yet.

The one thing he said that I fully agree with. You have to keep challenging yourself as you get older. Every few years learn a new hobby unlike anything you have done before. It keeps the mind active and staves off oldtimers disease.

This is the first full length Kitco interview I've watched since 2012. Something feels very different in the metals market.
Gold is at it's highest ever currently GBP (£1,278), silver is rising rapidly too (£15.81) although has to catch up to 2011 peak of £29.26. I think that will come very soon

Love his point about not wanting to live in a world where gold is soaring. I agree. I wouldn't have any gold to make a profit. I would own it to retain the value of my money. What a wonderful, balanced position.

@@petervella most of them are old mines, and we aren't putting the money in to new mines, we are falling behind in production and will slip to fourth as worlds biggest gold producers in a few years.

Yes I agree. The point for me is that gold does not really go up or down. Its value is more or less constant, and has been for ages. What happens is other things change relative to it. The one quibble I would have with Frank is to state that gold is money, but the dollar is not. It is currency, which can be used as money but is not the same thing. Currencies can be and are manipulated. Money is something that has to have real value and can only be manipulated relative to other things, like paper currencies. That is why our system was originally set up to protect against the disasters we are facing now by ensuring the economic benefits of sound money, but the bankers destroyed all that. Central banks are the enemies of freedom. When anything other than the market determines the value of money you will be enslaved. The only way central banks can make money is to steal it.
@@MarkusGhambari Jim Sinclair, Stewart Thompson, Peter Schiff and many others say gold is coming back into the monetary system. If that happens we'll likely be on that money system for a hundred years or more so you're right, it likely won't be 45 years but longer.
It isn't ridiculous. When I started working, the spot price of gold was around $300. Today it is $1,550. I could see the price moving up 3x from here (again).
I did not know you before but thank you Frank, I am just a small investor trying to protect his pension from the coming storm. I bought Gold, real gold, in my hands and still wondered if I was right, now I know , thank you so much.All I have to get right is when to sell!

Saw this coming before 2020 hit. I asked my girlfriend if she owned much gold (jewellry etc) and she said no, but asked why. I told her what was coming but she had no clue what I was really talking about. This is why the plutocrats (Gates etc) had been liquidizing assets and selling huge personal stock and buying LAND since the end of 2018.

It's really nice to hear this interview. The interviewer, Daniella, is an expert. She has an uncanny way of elucidating the obvious brilliance of Mr. Giustra as a financial genius while, almost simultaneously, exposing the really cool nature of Mr. Giustra as a human being. I love how Daniella focusses on the financial aspects of the economy; then she delves into the personal aspects of Mr. Giustra - but soon comes back to financial issues. This shifting focus between professional and personal matters makes for the ideal interview. Daniella is a treasure, and so is Mr. Giustra.
Keep stackin physical.
Physical assets like gold, silver, platin, farming land etc. will soon to be the new Interntional currencies. Who knows how high silver and gold goes but one thing is certain. USD and Euro based systems will go down South big time pulling down many companies and consumers who did not or cannot prepare.
FINALLY someone who explain in which way to invest in the gold. Regarding Physical or Stocks and so on.

He is right about bitcoin.
Lets say the US government bans bitpay, starts taxing people when they go either in or out through exchanges, some regulations that block institutional money that isnt going in anyway and some other measures who knows what.
This is both politically and practically easy to do, infact it's by far the easyest asset class to crush the price, like SO MUCH easyer than any other.
So why would anyone pick that as a safe haven when u can be in a near sure thing like gold or silver.
It just makes no sense, and i dont get why people cant see it, still touting bitcoin as a safe haven.
Something that can probably drop like what 80% in a DAY if the us government / powers that be wants it to?

gold and silver aren't the only metals to watch. In 2008, rhodium hit 10K, and could easily double that. It has already gone from $800 to $4900 in just a few years.
