Subhash chandra Bose should be given highest respect. He is the real hero of freedom struggle. I remember my grandpa saying when all leaders were arrested in 1943 people looked upon Subhash Chandra Bose with hope. INA gave the boost Indians needed. It is well accepted that one of the reasons for Britishers leaving India was revolt within the armed forces post war which was instigated and planned by INA. Unfortunately Germany lost in war, and all the plans failed. However losses incurred were major that British govt were after Subhash ji and INA even after independence. I believe the terms of power transfer had clauses related to Subhash ji and INA. I hope our nation and the people accords him the respect he deserves.

Subhash Chandra Bose's heroism, patriotism and sacrifice is beyond question. He's one of our greatest heroes.
But what effects did the INA actually have in real life? The INA was routed by the Britishers in Kohima itself which is a far cry from their intended location of Delhi. The British Empire was at it's peak at that time and they were fighting on multiple theatres of war. There presence on the subcontinent was iron clad with a large professional army. The INA was numerically inferior and was heavily dependent on Japanese assistance.
His presence may have had a rousing effect on everyday Indians in the darkest days of war but I am doubtful what impact, if any, the INA had on the British Indian Army.
That time PM of Britain, Clement Atlee later came India after independence and talked to that time chief justice of Bengal that the main reason british left India was Netaji. Due to him british lost their trust on Indian soldiers in British army.
And Atlee also said that effects from non violent sides were 'Minimal'.

Gumnaami baba story is 100% true because I came to know this when I was a kid through my relative grand uncle,who was very close to Sir Bose at that time and we also saw a letter from Sir Bose to him before catching the so called last flight.
We had freedom fighters in our family.
His daughter confirmed that the baba was not netaji. Because of a great difference in height. The people who know him personally verified this and she confirmed that on tv.

If Netaji chose to come forward before his death n state that he Is MR subash chandra bose people would eagerly accept him without much hesitation … he ws such a respectful person in our country until today. Subash Chandra bose was a true leader but I don't understand that If bose survived till 1985 then how did he see India struggling on many matters and not interfere. E.g. Pakistan division, India moved to UN on kashmir matter, Lal Bahar shastri death controversy, bad congress ruling, India blind faith on China till 1962 etc.
Why he seemed to be silent on many important national events that changed India if this theory explained is correct?
Actually his main objective was that he want to see free india, India became free in 1947 and his objective was completed and so was his dream. That might be the reason he stayed silent on other matters and felt satisfied to see free India

Nehru along with Britishers already declared Subhash Bose as a war criminal after 1945. This compelled Subhash Bose to remain as gumnami baba till 1985.
If he would came in front of everyone as SC Bose he would have been killed unfortunately by the government of that time. We are well versed with the government of that time and love of them towards Bose.
I believe SC bose would have died in plane crash itself. How can anybody believe that SC Bose lived like a ghost. He was courageous man. He would have died fighting rather than living hiding.
