At no time in my life have I met anyone from any generation or age bracket that likes Taylor Swift. I have worked as a stagehand at her concerts, I have seen the audiences first hand, but I have no idea where those people go when the show is over. And for anyone curious, her entire performance is mimed, the backing band is real. At one point they had a gigantic taiko drum that Taylor and a violinist were melodramatically swinging sticks at, but the keyboard player was triggering the taiko sound, nothing was actually happening. And that waterfall, good lord what a mess.

I was able to study part time while working a low wage job, and now I make about 50% more than what I previously made. @@adb888 Kidding aside, there is truth in that. My mother broke her hip, didn't do the work to get back on her feet and spent her last days in a wheelchair. She wasn't fat but was a big lady. We had to be careful on the equipment we got for her. So yeah, this chick isn't using a standard wheelchair. And that brings up another issue. At 170 lbs Mom wasn't easy to transfer. When this one needs a caregiver to move and "clean" her cause she will, she has no idea what a burden that will be.

Well, I was happy (ok, "tolerating") working 60-80 hrs / week, until some knobhead decided I needed to take an experimental vaccine in order to work from home with zero contact. It's not that I don't WANT to work, there's just not much demand for a partially disabled BMC Control-M Scheduler in a z/OS mainframe environment inside the Australian Banking Industry. Plan B - mister manager that SACKED me from my career can do some work for a change, pay tax, and I'll scrounge of unemployment benefits. (Plan C is I get my job back once he's been executed for crimes against humanity, but it doesn't look like it's happening this week).

My husband worked a full time and two part time jobs for a while when our youngest kids were little and I stayed home with them. We got food stamps for a time because of our (lack of) income. Once our income picked up we didn’t get food stamps anymore. That’s how it should be done.

My 21 year old neighbour pulled out of a side street and crashed his motorbike into a van. He said he has lasting pain, so he gets PIP and doesn't work.
