Useful video as I am planning to swop my D3 wheel for a heated D4 one. All looks similar and I have the extra wiring and new PCBs. Need to first convince the car that the tailgate is really closed!
Hello, have you dealt with finishing the shifting under the steering wheel on the Discovery Sport P 250 model, year of manufacture 2020? Thank you Frybort.
@@L663 Hello, I have a L.R.Discovery sport P250, 2020. It is not equipped with gearshift under the steering wheel. Is retrofitting possible? Thank you Frybort..
I think you can fit a heated steering wheel, but there is an extra wire or alternate wire which needs fitting. The car I had was already heated. It's pretty safe to leave the battery on. I've just had my Jag wheel off several times for an update, but without the engine running it's difficult to get at the clips. There is a tool to lock the clock spring, but just keep it in the middle and all will be fine.
Any chance you can investigate the potential for retrofitting a heated wheel to the facelift (2016/17) Evoque please. Unlike the earlier cars it's not a simple plug and play.
Hi do you have any info as to how to change the brake light switch on this model? I know you have a video on an older model, but that doesn’t have the Knee air bag under the steering wheel. My brake lights want turn off when driving. Same model as this vehicle. Does it even have a brake light switch as it looks very restricted near the peddles can’t seem to find it.
@@L663 Hello Simon…it is a pattern set up years ago when we were caring for Hilary’s mother…she needed help during the night and that included at 1am every morning. H found it easier to stay up resting in a chair until then. That finished in 2009 but in recent years, H was a very early victim of C19:and it has given lasting effects that mean we end up in a pattern of being sat in chairs, looking at the iPad, and H falls asleep. My aim is to be up until no more than 1.30am which does often happen but for all that, I’m back up at around 6am every morning! This pattern is not recommended but seems to work and my usual way of spending 11pm onwards is watching the various You Tube friends…we don’t watch much TV though! 😬😃😃😃😃😃😃

Hi i just wanna know Can the steering wheel of a 2017 Land Rover Discovery be replaced with the steering wheel from a 2020 Land Rover Discovery?
Is it possible to add the heated steering wheel function by replacing the steering wheel and center ring?
Good work
