Sting didn't trust Vinnie Mac? Sounds like a smart man.
I dunno. Most, if not all shoots on Vince haven't painted him too badly. He is business, he is upfront, he is direct. I'd say he's as trustworthy as anyone.
most shoot on Vince are from WWE made stars, most people that make it big outside the WWE get screwed if they ever come to wrestle for Vince
Rich Pyke That place is the Hall of Fame.
How many of the 4 I mentioned are in the HOF? They were put over and went far with wwe regardless of where they started. Another wcw guy - Steve Austin. Brian Pilman. There were a lot who started in wcw and wwe didnt bury them.
Rich Pyke they're going to be in it I mean.
Sting is one of the FEW guys who always did what was best for the business not what was best for himself. i think sting saw WWE as the only real hope for wresting in the future and went out on his back to promote the future of wrestling. im pretty sure sting knew he didnt have much time left and knew how he would be treated in WWE and went there anyways.
Sting will always be my favorite wrestler of all times no matter what.
Sting Should Have Beat Triple h
+Kalisto Crazy 100% Agree! It truly was a dick move of Vince to bury him on his first Wrestlemania.
@@D21BeastReviews i havent watched wwe since they screwed sting over
So should have Booker T, but clearly we can't all get what we want
Yes he should. But the all proud , all WWE HHH would never loose to an ex WCW wrestler, no matter who it be. Whether Nash,Steiner or sting. WWE could have profitted immensely by having Sting in wwe
@@Weazy44Tuclanta same dude
10 things....
#1 everything he did in wwe
#2 Everything he did in TNA.
+DAcheekO
FACEPALM
That was the tenth one
+DAcheekO Maybe you should watch the video before commenting next time
+Nick Bleker (SkullxGaming873) #3 Everything
So that's why he looked quite similar to Warrior in his early run, they were tag team partners
He was also that lunatic's only friend in the business
Or did the warrior look similar to Him
Yes.....except sting was like 230 lbs warrior was heavier. But they look awesome next to each other.
@Hugh Ropp yeah, decades later.... nobody liked him when he was active
@Hugh Ropp either I'm crazy, or your stupid... I'm guessing the latter if you listen to anything the wwe said. They've spent the last 20 years ruining wrestling... and I was talking about the ultimate warrior not being liked. Not the stinger. Everybody loved sting
Sting was right not to trust them. Now hes gone.
+Jigsjigz Vince can be a dick, and his time spent in the wwe kinda proved his point, and so did that picture at 2:26.
+Eden kanangila a legend buried. ask any one who never saw wcw they think stings some washed up ash been who never won anything... its sad. They buried him and his career. maybe I'm biased as sting was my fav wrestler besides scott steiner.
Jigsjigz Luckily for me, although I wasn't of his career in wcw. I first met sting in TNA, and he was practically in his prime there. When he first showed up in TNA to take down Jeff Jerret, whom I hated as champ btw, the commentators talked about how he was legendary and this got me confused as this was the first time I was seeing this guy, but this fact got me interested and I looked him up. It was because of my TNA phase (2006-2009) that I got to know more about sting, otherwise I would've been like one of those clueless people who don't know about WCW.
I also discovered scott steiner through TNA as well, but in my opinion scott is over-rated, although I or anyone else who thinks that wouldn't say that to his face.
+Eden kanangila what do you think of sting? was the the greatest unsung hero of all time? I think so.
Jigsjigz As an unsung hero, I'd say he's up there. My favourite superstar of all time is still and always will be The Undertaker.
Sting comes to WWE - >Seth kills Sting's neck -> Sting retires from wrestling
Yeah I can see why Sting distrusts Vince.
That's Seth's fault not Vince's though.
+BooUrns Yeah, but it was an accident, and Seth hated himself for it. Even Sting himself said it at the Hall of Fame this year.
+BooUrns Actually, Sting has said that Seth Rollins did nothing wrong. Sting took responsibility for his injuries stating that he failed to protect himself while taking the move from Seth.
The hypocrisy is unreal. Ryback got shit for injuring punk up until he left. If someone like Roman had injured sting, we'd never hear the end of it.
+BooUrns First of all, I'm not a Roman Reigns hater. Secondly, I could care less who Sting was in the ring with when he got hurt. Those words about it not being Rollins' fault came from Sting. Is Sting the hypocrite then?
10 things WWE want you to forget about WWE, make it happen
^
+Sergei Da Best That would probably need to be a top 50 at least
+Tommy Guerrera WOW... to bad thats true -_-
+Tommy Guerrera agreed
that's so true
That reenactment of Sting and Undertaker's match was PURE FUCKING ART!
When you discover the personality of Steve sting borden you can't can't love him as a wrestler too. I just love the way he is mentally and how he's passionate about wrestling. He's a true down to earth man in my opinion.
GRRRR
RAAAA
Ahhh I'm defeated!
I love Adam.
That WAS the best part of this video!
"a true dream match" - proceeds to show roman vs HHH the worst main event ever hahaha
Millions of fans wanted to see WWE do ONE thing with Sting.
WWE would f*ck it up once again.
they were probably building to it
Martin Le Davis I bet they weren't.
They missed it, like they do with most things nowadays.
stufaman what you have to remember is sting is mostly at fault here as well. It took 13 years to get him onto wwe as he held out, wrestling for TNA instead, infront of crowds of 460 people..
Martin Le Davis To be honest. I would have preferred Sting stuck to his guns and become the most iconic wrestler to never compete in WWE.
I'm guessing he missed it deep down.
It's kinda sad seeing end with a whimper in WWE.
But yes, TNA was abysmal. Well at least when Hogan destroyed it.
stufaman I was never a fan of TNA but I wished it would have succeeded, just to give wwe an edge
I was in Greensboro the night Sting defeated Mean Mark (The Undertaker) to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship!!!
Well, you got to see Steve Borden (Hope that is right) face off against Mark Callaway. Something that most will never see again
Phillip Overcash You my friend, are part of a rare species who has seen Steve Borden vs Mark Calloway
I want to be you...
please tell us about it
I want to hear about it, Carolina boy
Sting should have never signed with WWE. NEVER!!!!!!
+jpowers55
Or just signing and go straight in the Hall of Fame.
Never should have signed! Amen & AMEN to that statement!!!
***** you're kidding of course with this psuedo "wwf hall of fame". It's actually laughable, a hall of fame for 'pro' wrestlers???!!.
It's bad enough that guys get paid severe freight numerals for basically playing a kids game, Ex. baseball, football, basketball, and get inducted into their games Hall of Fame, by Sportswriters.
But who votes dummies like Rick Rude into a sports entertainment hall of fame. Every time I hear that term wwf hall of fame, I just shake my head in utter amazement at the true stupidity that the entire thing encompasses.
Steve Borden should be ashamed of himself to work for Vince MacMahon. Totally ashamed of himself and his actions. Borden a self professed Born Again Christian willingly taking 'blood money' from the epitome of EVIL, the MacMahon's!
I support you. That was a biggest mistake Sting did.
Agreed , accomplished nothing but Fulfilling HHH EGO !
Yeah but the chair shot spawned one of the funniest things ever, the guy who was wearing a sting mask was actually sting!
Just because WCW fans wouldn't boo Sting doesn't mean they didn't "buy" the heel turn in '99. They actually quite liked Sting as a baddie - "Evil Sting Rules!" - in fact the fans liked it so much they all went and turned heel too!
Exactly. He was the wrestling anti-hero. The Han Solo of wrestling.
All this time, I thought my dad was lying about Mean Mark. The more you know
How shitty they booked the legend of Sting should be top of the list.
Sting has faced Mark Callaway, but he's never faced The Undertaker
He faced Mark McCallous
+Lj Ellsworth yes he did, but Sting has never been face to face with the Undertaker
Mark callus was too young into wrestling at that time....Mark callus grew up into undertaker killing mankinds rocks stone colds , andre the giant , Ultimate warrior , Diesel....One more match Sting V/s undertaker would be shame for sting because we all know undertaker will win it. Plus Sting already turned down a match proposal with undertaker WW 27 when undertaker was in tough phenom times
Of course the Undertaker would beat Sting due to the fact the WWE wants to be better then the WCW guys look at there history since 2002 by burying the WCW guys when the came over to the WWE. If they were fair to all the wrestlers including the WCW guys we don't know who would win between them both but that will never happen.
Sting >>>>> Under Taker
That taker vs sting match tho
that was marck callus V/s sting..Sting cannot face the fully grown up mark callus ( undertaker)...A match wm 27 Undertaker V/s sting Proposal was already turned down by Sting back in time when Undertaker was at his toughest phenom times....Any future match such as Undetaker V/s sting will only end up a Shame for Sting because he is certain to lose to undertaker
@@burythehatchettruce4550 dont disrespect a legend like Sting the only time you have seen Sting wrestle was probly in the WWE go back to the late 80's early 90's and watch him he was the best my opinion is he was the best wrestler of all time and if he spent his whole career in the WWE i bet a lot of people would have thought the same thing !!!!
AustroStudios i
Exactly. lol. Sting was one of the hardest working wrestlers in the WCW.
I'm not a bad guy,
I'm not a good guy,
I did it for the Rock

+HEY Niko I'm not a bad guy
I'm not a good guy
But my fucking god, this joke is terrible.
+HEY Niko Wanna play bowl?
+HEY Niko Take this W please.
I'm not a bad guy
I'm not a good guy
IT'S ME AUSTIN, IT'S ME AUSTIN, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG AUSTIN.
That worst chair shot from sting was probably the best disguise any wrestler in the crowd has ever worn. Sting wore a Sting mask. Shortly after that chair shot he took off his mask to reveal his face paint. It was glorious.
The fact how Adam uses these photos thru his presentation is so cleaver, you just gotta catch on to each joke he says which goes so perfect lol and that last part when he said "A true dream match" showing Triple H vs. Roman Reigns at WM was so spot on like they really thought it was a dream match to put those two against each other at the main event lmao 😆
That artist rendering was better than Triple h vs Roman reigns
+Steve Wright Nice like bot you got there steve
Hi
I never saw that but it sounds like a real snoozefest.
Roman Reigns is worst than Hogan! none od Reigns marches was good !
@@liberamente1683 don't watch him than 😒
saying the Undertaker wrestled Sting in WCW is like saying the undertaker threw Dude Love off of hell in a cell.
"Aw I'm defeated" never fails to crack me up every time.
WWE should have had Sting face Taker as his debut match have Sting lose and next Mania do the HHH vs Sting match where Sting wins and can retire mania score 1-1 happy ending.
James Rodolfo you’re forgetting, hunter would never put a WCW guy over, look at what he did to Booker T
Triple H used to be a WCW guy.. IIRC he lost to Ricky Steamboat back in the 90's sometime challenging for the US Championship.. He was known as Jean Paul Levesque back then..
Rob Schumann then why has he always and still buries all WCW talent
Because he fucking hated WCW lol
Not only that, he actually runs WWE, so he can screw over whoever he wants.
The one line I remember from Stings HOF speech was when he was mentioning all of his gimmicks he said "can I mention Joker Sting?" (from TNA) I bet all the WWE officials were like "no! no! no!'
Best depiction of sting vs undertaker match ever. XD
How about when Sting was debuting for WWE, they were teasing the dream match by first using a game match between the two to advertise 2k15 and then a few weeks later they made a documentary chronicling both the Undertaker and Sting's careers in their respective companies, even calling them the counterparts to each other's careers. And then they fed Sting to HHH and Vince decided to not even do the match
+Joseph Gregory Vince probably wants you to remember that. Because it sold things for him.
The intro was perfect about the Crow.
I'm pretty much addicted to these lists at this point they're so good
Robocop! You missed out Robocop! ROBOCOP!!!!
+Miles McClagan Sting actually acknowledged that in his Hall of Fame speech.
Technically, he acknowledged TNA by referencing Joker Sting.
(I only mention that since it counts as a reference on WWE TV.)
+Tommy Brownell Sting did not reference the Joker Sting in any way shape or form and you misheard and misunderstood it. - WWE
Woops, my bad. Thanks for correcting me! =)
+H Flor don't lie. sting said "shall I quote the joker gimmick but yes he did reference it. because I watched it live on wwe network. but this is not an argument but a statement.
I always agreed with Sting's rejections of WWE's overtures until this decade. His 1st WWE match proved why he stayed away. I'm not shocked that the botched WCW invasion was a factor.
STNG IS STILL MY FAVORITE WRESTLER he is a LEGEND and a ICON
To be fair. "Mean" Mark Calous vs Sting. Is nothing close to The Undertaker vs Sting The Icon.
But there is video footage of Sting vs Kane, as Bruiser Mastino, in WCW so yay for that, I guess.
6:40 That was one of the best wrestling replays I've seen in a long time, the accuracy is amazing! :)
Love these videos and how you guys present them
That artist rendering, EPIC! Looked just like the real thing. If you hadn't mentioned it was avdrawing, I wouldn't have know!
i was amused by the "dramatization" of the Sting/Mark Calloway match at the end
I liked Sting so much when I was a kid and even back then I thought it was weird that he didn't wrestle much. Thanks for this video it explained a lot.
Pretty sweet video. Sting has been one of my favorites for as long as I have watched wrestling and by far my favorite wcw hero as a kid.
I expected to see something about the Rick rude injury but I guess the wwe still acts as though rude never existed after how he left.
Sting is amazing he truly is an icon beyond words
lol its painful to know we could had Sting vs Austin in 02 or Sting Vs Taker in 03 smfh
great job on this vid. UT v Sting already happened.....mind blown
Sting deserves so much more Love and respect wee always has to screw over good ppl sadly it's bloody ridiculous
1:54 lol how many times have they used that pic of vince with the money
Over a million times
That is showing that Vince is all about the money not the fans.
that match was better than romans whole career
tokyo ravens
Most iconic Wrestler in History. Wish they released a new DVD with his really greatest Matches.
"*grunts* ohh, I'm defeated" i love Adam lol
I despise how WWE used Sting and virtually anyone from another brand. Heck, for that matter, look at The Dudley Boyz. It's like WWE is punishing them for ever having left for TNA. I mean tonight on Raw, they had Bubba get knocked off the apron, and D-Von pinned and beat by Colin Cassady in less than a minute. I mean seriously? It's no wonder CM Punk dropped that infamous "pipe bomb" on Raw now.....
It's what the fans want though. The Dudley Boyz are business, they are putting over Big Cass. Enzo & Big Cass are looking like they will be on for a great tag run.
True, and hey, I personally love Enzo and Case. I just wish WWE would treat everyone, especially legends who made WWE what it is today, better.
Sorry, Cass. Autocorrect.
Its the nature of the business. Some of the greatest to step in the ring would constantly put other guys over. Shawn Michaels was one. He could make any match great but he lost a lot of those and it didn't matter a bit.
Older superstars are supposed to lose to younger superstars so the younger superstars stay relevant for a long time. That's how it works.

+Jayanth S Spoiler! Spoiler!
Hey, that chair shot to RVD is my favourite gif ever. It's a perfect allegory for life!
This was one of the Best video's featuring Sting that I've ever seen on UA-cam 👀
Actually Sting and 'Taker wrestled twice. 'Taker is on record as saying getting a win over Sting early on was what pushed him in WCW and meant he was able to get the exposure to eventually become a huge star, and that is why 'Taker is always keen to help young talent.
Honestly, the Sting v. Taker thing.. I swear happened one other time. In the lead up to their "Future Shock" Starrcade PPV. I still seem to recall them going at it once on WCW Saturday night as part of that build up. They took members of the 'teams' portion of that event and put them against the singles competitors of the same event. I'm waiting until that portion of the archive shows up on the network to scan through it to try to see if it is there. (Along which checking the running times to make sure they don't cut it to 'edit' history.)I freely admit, I may be mistaken on this.. because it was a very long time ago... but I honestly still believe that it happened.
sting was my hero as a kid.
When i was in 2nd grade my parents took me to a wcw wrestling event, the head lining match was Sting vs Ric Flare. I was hooked, and I'm still nostalgic when i see wrestling on tv. LOL thanks Sting and Ric
For future reference the wrestler that taught Bret the sharpshooter was Konnan
Wait.. one of the few Raw matches Sting had, was against a former WCW guy? wow, I bet fans been waiting for this for 15 years
ok now I demand that you guys re-do all the greatest matches in the style of this glorious match you just showed us
he was a great heel in Mid South .. took on Bill Watts for a while in Tag Team matches til Warrior left for Texas
Haven't watched it yet but the fact he wrestled for tna is gonna be on here
What is TNA? Vince doesn't know it. Please tell him what TNA is all about!

Do a 10 Things WWE want you to forget about The Attitude Era.
Sting in TNA>>>>>>>>>Sting in WWE
+Jack Mcdonald Taker v Sting WM27 >>>>>>>> ANy Hornswoggle match >>>>> Sting Vs Jeff HArdy Victory road
+Jack Mcdonald his TNA career was 1000 times better than shitty WWE run they gave him
+Jack Mcdonald I don't even like TNA and can say that they treated him with respect most of the time, booked him pretty well and gave him a good ten years on TV.
WWE couldn't even give him a win at a PPV, a run with the title cause their egos are too big, and just buried all the star power and accomplishments with "He's just a WCW guy." The best thing they did was put him in the Hall of Fame.
Sting in TNA >>>> Sting in WCW >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sting in WWE
Adam's voice is one of the biggest reasons I love these list video.
The ending of Victory Road 2011 actually had Sting answering a fan who shouted "That match sucked!", to which Stinger answered "I agree!"
I don't care what anyone says, Sting is and will always be my favorite wrestler.
Who else thinks that the WWE HOF has gone down in terms of quality?
The second people like Arnie went in, I lost all respect for the hof! Meant to honour wrestlers who have put their lives into the company and also some iconic wrestlers, I.e Sting! So yeah, I agree!
Like most HoFs, it starts out nice then garbage gets through, then good workers get left out
+Finalizados Watch them take ages to induct Taker too. -.-
but hey, at least Donald Trump is in there!
Finalizados Let's hope so. Vince is fickle.
Great video
I love these...
Sting will always be a icon
No RoboCop at Capital Combat? Ok....Good list regardless though. Just surprised that isn't on here.
Love how you open by now that his career is over.. Starts wrestling again 5 years after this
Possibly your best video.
Next do the TOP 10 things WWE wants everyone to forget in general
+Goolz96 Here we go:
No. 10 - The Miz beating John Cena at WrestleMania 27
No. 9 - Cena burying Nexus
No. 8 - The Katy Vick angle from Kane vs. HHH in 2002
No. 7 - Lesnar kissing Kurt Angle
No. 6 - Mike Adamle's role as Raw General Manager
No. 5 - The "Johnny Nitro" name
No. 4 - Hacksaw Jim Duggan beating Stone Cold in 30 seconds for the United States Title in WCW
No. 3 - Kevin Federline defeated John Cena one on one via pinfall
No. 2 - Ric Flair technically being a 21 time World Champion
No. 1 - Chris Benoit
+Goolz96 - I pride myself on knowing a great deal about pro wrestling, but I'm not sure where you get the additional 5 titles for Flair...I know he was never the title holder in TNA or ROH, so - Japan? Where? Thanks!
+Michael J Goddard
2 time WWE Champion
9 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion
8 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion
2 times WCW International World Heavyweight Champion (which was still a World Title at one stage before it was unified with the main WCW World Title)
Which brings it to 21
WWE only recognised 8 out of 9 of Flair's NWA Title reigns, 6 out of 8 WCW Title reigns and neither of his 2 WCW International Title reigns, even though they still happened. Which brings it back down to 16
So for kayfabe purposes, he's a 16 time champion. But in reality, he's a 21 time champion
4:50 - 5:27 made me laugh so much
In his DVD (that I own) Made just about a year ago Sting directly mentions working for TNA in a WWE made film, it's called Sting into the light
perfect from whatculture
6:40 probably better than what their WM clash would'we been...
+Kari Suomalainen better than any tyler breeze match
C'mon.... I'm not a bad guy...
I'm not a good guy...
I'm Adam's baldspot
John Davis no your John davis
Let the poor man live his dream.
Undertaker was in (NWA)WCW for a while, I have to imagine there's been a telecast match between him and sting
6:40 - Right up there with "I-I do...de RKO!"
I wish I would have gotten see sting in WWE wrestle the Undertaker 😅
Didn't Vince approach Sting in the 90s several times as well? I thought he said he did.
I love this channel
6:40 "Er ar er ah I'm defeated."
I love you.
10 wrestlers carreers ruined by vince mcmahon's wwe regime...
10 things wwe wants you to forget about shawn michaels
It would be more like 100 things
that ending! awesome
What's is funny is Sting mentioned TNA not by name but during his hall of fame speech he mentioned the countless character arcs he played and he mentioned the joker which was TNA
10 Things WWE want you to forget about Shawn Michaels
top 10 things WWE wants you to forget about Zack Ryder
oh wait
we already forgot about him
Who?
Now he is AEW let's hope they do something good with him
That artist rendering is better than most of what's going on in the WWE right now 10/10
best artist rendering ever. hope that guy gets an emmy
