Harpia Knife Making Elven Knife Feather Damascus

Hi Folks!
In this video I show the making of a damascus steel knife in the feather pattern from forging.
The hilt is finely carved from a fossil woolly mammoth.
The design of this blade I created based on the art nouveau style, the same adopted for the elves in the "Lord of the Rings" movies, so in a way it is an elven knife. :)

Nesse vídeo mostro a confecção de uma faca em aço damasco no padrão pena desde o forjamento.
A empunhadura foi finamente esculpida em fóssil de mamute lanoso.
O desenho dessa lâmina criei baseado no estilo art nouveau, o mesmo adotado para os elfos nos filmes de "O Senhor dos Aneis", então de certa forma trata-se de uma faca élfica. :)

Beautifully made for sure. I couldn't figure out if that was a crack in the handle or a film smudge. In any case, feather pattern is always stunning to look at.

Very nice looking knife. It is interesting that many of the different edges in the Damascus pattern look almost like they are digitized. Just micro differences in the different type of steel making it look that way.

Nice. Been watching a lot of knife making videos and this one definitely stands out for the delicate shape of the blade, the intricacies of the Damascus pattern, the unique handle material.
Could I make a guess on the market value? A knife like that should go for at least a few thousand US, possibly much more.

I've used ferric chloride to get the texture, and manganese phosphat to protect the carbon steel from oxidation.
