In addition to leaving our home, friends, family, and our "stuff", there is the fear of not being able to "let go" of a lot of items we are convinced we "can't do without". The result is that we arrive with multiple suitcases, boxes of the very "stuff" we tried, sometimes unsuccessfully, to get rid of. The truth is...most of us quickly realize that we brought far too many things we really don't need. In this video, we help you decide what to bring and what you don't or won't really need for your move abroad.

Hi...thanks for reaching out. I did not do a relocation tour but I visited several times and did my research that way. My attorney was a good resource and hooked me up with a realtor and I was able to secure my first apartment.The rest I figured out on my own. Many expats cite the benefits of going on an organized tour so you can get a comprehensive view of Panama. I don't have an opinion either way. Good luck with your decision. What about Shipping materials to Panama for example tables, chairs, clothing, auto parts, etc., will it be difficult?

Hi, thanks for reaching out. If you insist on bringing clothes and other items, there are logistics companies that will bring them over in a container. it might cost and take a while to get here..but it's up to you. I moved with 3 suitcases and have not regretted my decision. Almost everything can be found here in Panama.

Hi. I am in the process of eliminating stuff. I look around my house asking “if I never see this again will I be okay?” The attachments are being broken because the answer is YES!
Now, what the heck to do with it! Aaargh!

I made several trips to Goodwill...I also donated to Women's shelters and lastly a charity that helped women with breast cancer.

Yes...thanks for the clarification. I had trouble getting it the first few flights... got the runaround by the counter folks but now I buy my ticket from the kiosk at the mall and have had no issues. 25% off is fantastic...great for an upgrade. Thanks for watching
