If you insist on bringing clothes and other items, there are logistics companies that will bring them over in a container. it might cost and take a while to get here..but it's up to you. I moved with 3 suitcases and have not regretted my decision. Almost everything can be found here in Panama.

My attorney was a good resource and hooked me up with a realtor and I was able to secure my first apartment.The rest I figured out on my own. Many expats cite the benefits of going on an organized tour so you can get a comprehensive view of Panama. I don't have an opinion either way. Good luck with your decision. I made several trips to Goodwill...I also donated to Women's shelters and lastly a charity that helped women with breast cancer.
