I love to see storks flying in the air. They are massive. The scene with the birds in the trees was lovely too. Glad you've found tiles and because of the nice weather you could start laying them in the room. Why didnt you use a pillow,or a rubber mat for under youre knees Adam? It was nice to see Max again. Thanks for the video,it was a nice one.
We love seeing the storks, if only my camera did them justice. I had kneepads in my overalls but it was the constant bending that my knees complained about!
Chestita baba marta! Haha, our Bulgarian friends avoided looking for storks as they like wearing the bracelets for as long as possible. The tiling looks great Adam, the spacers are super! Looking forward to seeing the finished result. Keep warm during the cold spell.
Ive gotten new knees so don't stand a chance of tiling my kitchen floor . It needs leveling then tiling but I'm not able to afford the prices I've been quoted by local tilers and that's before I've bought the materials needed for the work.
It certainly isn't a knee friendly job. All in the materials probably cost around 400 leva but obviously there were no labour costs (other than tea and biscuits).
I need to buy about eleven metres of tiles for the floor, but the floor needs to be leveled first so cement for the leveling, grout and what ever. Also I need about two metres of other tiles to tile the sink as well. Once I've bought that stuff i need to find a tiler to do the work. What amount of tiles and so on did you buy?
We bought 9 boxes of tiles (7 in each) and have 4 left over. The total area was just over 11 square metres. I got through 7 bags of tile adhesive, but I was putting in on thickly, and a 2 kg tub of grout.
Thank you , the cost of labour is between 2k and 2600 lev as well and I need levelling concrete as well and delivery. Thanks again at least I've got a good idea of the overall costs.
Once again Adam, nice work with the tiling.
Thanks Carl, slow and methodical wins the day!
The tiling looks very professional. Love your little supervisor on the window ledge.
He lets me get away with nothing (unless I bribe him with ham)!

Oo please put the bath in the spare room 😂 when we stay I can indulge in a long awaited bath (!I do shower lol). Fabulous guys well done 👍
You'll have to ask the boss, I'm just the labourer! 😂
The tiling is looking good.
Great overhead video
Thanks Mystic, it's good to get the drone out every so often.

The spacers make my tiling look good! I'm not sure what it would look like without them but certainly not pretty...

Thanks Chris, we will try and bring more trips out. There's a limit to how much DIY people want to see me do!
