Great video. It's great to see a company (no matter what the industry) have their act together and give their employees/family the support they need to get the job done and live a good life. Owner Operators are part of the back bone of the industry, but if you can't be an OO, a company like this is what you want to join.
Chris check back with them in a couple of weeks and see how many phone calls or applications they received because of this video. Interest in knowing the #'s.
so glad my dad (David) works for a company he loves! grateful for the time home he has working for Bottomley! thank you to the company for being so good to him! ❤
Great job Chris showing the quality of hard working companies still with old school values!!! Awesome video Chris, Thanks for that video, we live in Mt Airy NC, they’re in my backyard!!!!
This sounds like a very good company. Wouldn’t mind riding around in one of those bright yellow Petes. Looks like they keep their equipment well maintained.
I’ll be receiving my cdl this Thursday , I’m in Fayetteville, I like what I’m seeing in this video but what do they have for vets? I was a 88m for 3 years

Do you have any solo drivers positions available.. I'm not one for running teams... and do you have any trucks with either 15 or 18 speed Eaton-Fuller Trans...I'm old school... Don't like automatic transmissions in a Big Rig...
a very good company, with virtues, true values, putting truckers & employees first is keys to a successful, long lasting business.. I hope to see them on the road.. thanks for sharing the video
Drove for bottomley for about 6 months, New equipment, good people, but its all team drivers. They screwed up my pay a couple weeks, but hey, crap happens and it was corrected with back pay so no harm done. When me and my team mate left for a flat bed company out of Nebraska, they had just started expanding into dry van solo driver options. Good company would go back when my lease is up and bring my pete to haul for mitchell again.
Yeah, good info. I have been noticing this outfit for a while now. A few years ago I wrote them off because they were strictly teams. I haven't teamed since I was new and being trained and I have no intention of ever teaming again unless it's with my own wife. Other people are too unpredictable and you never know when someone is going to lose their mind and act like a fool. Now that they have solo opportunities I plan on putting in an application soon.
Well wow, what a great image and company and amazing opportunity , if I was ever in a position to leave the Uk with my hgv class 1 licence I’d certainly be knocking your door to say hi , brilliant, good for you , you should be proud 👍🏻🍻
I worked with mitch and his whole family in the fields he's a he'll of a guy we took those trucks places most today can't carry the keys out of lol I didn't even have a cdl back then he's the real deal
Thay are telling the truth good company nice people. I was just comfortable with the automatic transmission and the collision alerts when there was no traffic around me
Would they ever go down the route of hiring drivers from overseas? Hoping to get my truck license in the UK, getting some solid experience under my belt and then emigrating!
I love it when people speak on things they know nothing about!🤭 The W900 is alive & well & KENWORTH has made no announcements of discontinuing it; although PETERBUILT announced 2 years ago that they were discontinuing the 389 after 2022 or 2023. Sorry I can't remember positively which year they announced.
True! I'm a 3rd generation driver and it's nothing like it was when I was a kid riding with the Ol'man! Not much courtesy & respect amongst driver's anymore. Old School driver's used to help the greenhorns with tips and advice, whether you payed attention or not was up to them. Nowadays driver's would rather watch another driver make a terrible mistake and video it . Then put them on blast on UA-cam and make fun of them. We need to tighten up as a whole, then maybe we would get a little respect and courtesy from shippers receiver's and the general public.
I have to say their drivers have been nice and respectful on the road as well. That says alot about the company.
I wasn't going to watch because it looked commercial. I gave it a minute then continued to watch it all . The genuine good people i enjoyed listening to. Thanks BRV
Wow! Pretty powerful! Man I would quit my job right now and go work for those guys and I don’t even drive a truck. It’s all about family! Solid video!
You'd be treated like family.

Mitchell Bottomley is one of the best fleet owners out there salute!
Old skool values, I never worked for a company where I didn't have the owners phone number. Great video Chris.
Sounds like a great company, every company including non transport companies could learn a lot from these guys
Nice work
Those are some gorgeous company rigs …just beautiful !!!
The truck industry would be a better place if we had more company owners like Mitchell bottomley
Fantastic Company! Here in South America We have nothing compared to Bottomley Enterprises from USA. They're AMAZING!
It is good to know there are still some good companies out there with old school values.
I remember Walmart telling me the same thing in 1995 then I went to drive for them by 2004 it all turned into all BS.now they cant get or keep drivers
Yep sounds so goody goody.
Same shit different company. All garbage.
Those chrome trailers look AMAZING
Chris you did your thing with this one !!!!!!! I was impressed with this video Great work wow
This sounds like a very good company. Wouldn’t mind riding around in one of those bright yellow Petes. Looks like they keep their equipment well maintained.
Every time you come back in they do maintenance on the truck. You don't take it home.
(Edit): drove for them for 6 months

I see these guys on I-84 between Pendleton and Portland Oregon every day... I'm in CDL 8 week School now.
Very well produced video Chris. Excellent way to broaden your revenue stream other than just UA-cam.

@Hello Scott how are you doing
Great looking trailers.
I passed by them in Virginia..or Carolina and there’s a pilot few miles down
Awesome Big Rigs refrigerated trailers👍👍
The freightliner and Peterbilt are two fantastic trucks
I like everything I am seeing & hearing I would like a Pete or KW over the Freightliner I am stubborn old school stick & throttle man

This is impressive. If all companies were like this!
My company uses Samsara. It came with a camera that faces out and in. If you look at 5:29, you can see the camera system.
The company my dad drives for uses the same system as well.

Nice trucks and nice location on 77

They said they hire right out of trucking school I surely wouldn’t mind driving for Bottomely

Does Bottomley run loads to New England and Upstate New York?

I am sending them my CV right NOW!!! 😉
Reminds me of knight when I started with them in 97. They were new then. I'm retired now.

i like to stay out 4 weeks and take off five days is that a problem

Wish they were in Wisconsin
Looking forward great 👍 truck 😊
Well that's a good company
Didn't know bananas could be driveable but if I had to pick a company that have these newer trucks I'll be going for this one for sure
Does this company take in drivers from outside, like foreign driver's?? If so, how can I get through??
Didn’t the owners have a rollin CB interview in like a old school w900? He looks familiar
