@Sara Smythe you can't use gesso or you'll cover up your images with white paint instead of just seal them down. But I think you can use modge podge, never used but I know others do and they say it works.
Your work is very artistic and very "neat" looking. I like that about your whole process regardless of what art work you are doing. Paint is fine but, it takes real talent to just use paper and pens. Thanks for the list of products. I go to your site and re-watch most of your videos. All of your work has a distinct look and flair.

Your work is truly amazing and inspirational! You make it look so easy! I'm a scrapbooker and artist and will definitely try my hand at this! What album base are you using? Is it a moleskin? The paper looks heavy duty. Doesn't' it bulk a lot after using quite a few pages?

OMG Vicky your journal page is so beautiful. I was totally captivated from start to finish wondering what you were going to create with flip flops and you sure did come up with one amazing creation. I just love your videos! You are a wonderful inspiration. I really want to attempt some art journaling but need to gather a few supplies. Would it be better to start with the PITT markers or gelatos? I don't think I can justify buying both at the same time.

what do you recommend I do for a traveling journal. Me and a friend are going to drive around the world and I want to make an inspiring journal for my future children to read. A journal that can hold photos including Polaroid frames.
