2023 NC LETR Conference

Hundreds of law enforcement officers from across the state met in Cherokee February 7-9 to attend the 2023 NC LETR Conference! This conference featured training sessions, planning for 2023 events and gave participants the opportunity to compete with Special Olympics North Carolina athletes in Unified soccer and cornhole.
www.sonc.net The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Special Olympics aims to combine high quality sports with a wide audience, and be a driving force for social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
