Thank you so much. I used this to make an omamori for my Nintendo Switch.. I hope you don't mind. I will share this video on my social media. So others can do the same..
Thank you. That !d1ot of my father opened the one I bought in Osaka and then he didn’t know how to fix it. I’ll try to do the knot myself but I’m heartbroken. He also threw my manga out “by mistake”. So sick and tired
These handmade omamori are not blessed by monks yet, so they're not exactly real Shinto or Bhuddist omamori. I think you can make one and bless it with prayers to your own God according to your religion.
@@Kid-A2 after searching ... looks like these "charms" culturally are forbidden to be opened under any circumstances, shape or form! also you can't clean it! if it gets lost it's okay! just doing its job protecting you or whatever, if it tears don't fix it! it's job is literally like a talisman or an amulet, it's not necessary a "souvenir" as much as religious tool. it does what it says supposedly, gives you fortune, health, protects, etc.. from all of this i think that the omamori charms, contain spells or some kind of sorcery. they aren't something to toy with.
Use pencil to trace the pattern on both sides of the tracing paper first. Then place the tracing paper on the fabric and trace the pattern again. The pattern will be transferred!

Any cloth is fine.
But traditionally, they use Brocade fabric or Kimono fabric. 🙂

Aren't you supposed to put a stone or other lucky charm in with them too?
It's very nice 😘 I can make this and give for my friend ❤️👍😘😘
does an omamori need fillings inside or just the prayer paper?
It's said that they can ward off Gashadokuro so I'm trying to make one without buying it off online thank you so much
I have a question! Can anyone with any religion use this? Having belief in their religion can any person use omamori?
Yes, it is often a popular souvenir, so I would think so.
