I have been going back and forth between this and the Sabre. I feel like I do a little better in the Sabre, but I enjoy the cockpit and MFD's more in the hornet.

I love the firepower in the Saber for sure, but it feels more fragile for some reason. I have a Comet, and it just randomly seems to lose wings. I'm sure it's just a skill issue on my end though!

So when we get ship armor it be more interesting. It is designed to be a brawler so I glad that showing though. I had one but I saw the military version and systems aside there just better looking. So I upgraded to the warden. It has a lot of upgrades but i the key for me was Longer range.

The Warden is a good ship for sure. For Vanguard's I prefer the Harbinger, but that's really just for the Torps! I do struggle when swarmed in the Vanguard tho, it's just a bit too sluggish to dodge out of trouble from multiple light fighters, at my skill level! (which is really, really low!)

The reason for the larger size repeaters is you get the same amount of damage down range as the smaller repeaters but in less time. If you power manage well that means in a pvp fight the shorter times you have a chance to hit a target, the more overall damage impacts.
Smaller size means you need to stay on target longer to get that same damage to apply. Generally in fights I bounce from full shield when taking damage, to full laser power when recharging guns. When neither are needed I make sure to full power to boost if it's depleted
The thing I can't stand right now is a mix of weapon velocities, which is what the Ad4B does with 700m/s projectile speed, which is at odds with the repeaters, however it works for you so it's can't be all bad.
In pve fights that's not too terrible to deal with.
Thing with superhornet I don't like is it gets super drifty and doesn't like to cancel forward movement too much, it's very easy to drift into the ground at night or far past intended locations when you don't pay attention

The drift part is absolutely true, tho for me it is definitely from not paying attention!

That strange landing behaviour of the Super Hornet (and Heartseeker) disappears when you put the Hornet nose turret on. Weird but true. It is definitely a bug. The benefit of the nose turret means more dps. I’ve put distortion repeaters on it.

I just haven't found a weapon selection for it that outpaces my Panther in functional DPS. The Panther for me is the perfect balance of Alpha, fire-rate, and range. And the nose turret looks really doofy to me. Breaks up all of the good looking lines of the ship.

Not a fighter jock at all but i got this for free fly and it was not bad at all. Got a kill even, but i also crashed it a few times as it is very nimble and quick on the inputs.

I just love the flight characteristics! It's responsive but not twitchy like the Arrow if that makes sense.
