you don't necessarily need to do extreme sports to live to the fullest. Those people have trained for years to say the least. It's a profession rather than a lifestyle. Do they give up something else? Of course, probably a lot, even their lives at some point.

Some of them are done with GoPro's strapped to FPV drones. Great to see such amazing shots! Too bad GoPro doesn't develop cameras with the drone use case in mind.
