Basically you can choose every version you find, but I would like to recommend the ambitions Japan tour version. I feel like taka really shines there and also Tomoya plays the piano, while Ryota plays e-cello.

If you want another rock band with great vocals, you can check out Taka's buddy Hongki, in FTIsland. They are Korean (N.Flying's oldest brothers) but they promote heavily in Japan and have a big fanbase there. Hongki's vocals are a god-send. Also, the drummer, Minhwan, is fantastic! I'm always here for more One Ok Rock!

A little update from the band guys.
Netflix will release a documentary of One Ok Rock online concert. Idk if it will release worldwide but as the preview has english subtitle, I assume it will release worldwide. You can watch it guys if you are interested to know the process and how their concerts really look like. One Ok Rock concert is the concert that is one in a lifetime experience and that is where OOR best at.

Taka's Father is one of japan legendary Singer and composer Shinichi Mori, and one of his brother, Hiroki Moriuchi (Hiro) also a vocalist of a rock Band named : My First Story, no wonder he's got a true musician blood n talent. OOR power is on their performance n messages on all of their songs. Go check their performance of WE ARE on Japan 18th Fest. A super mind blowing performance! This song always makes me feel emotional even without the actual heartache. The emotion in his voice is just pulling you to cry with him.

I'd just like to say, it's pronounced one ock-rock, as in one o'clock but japanified. Apparently they're named that way since they're sessions were coincidentally always on 1 PM, and they play rock, so one ok rock. Great reaction as always!

'creativity is limited by your abilities' 'the band has limitations' Ryota learnt how to play the double bass for a song during their Acoustic Live last month because Taka pestered him to 😂😂 I wish there was a video to share of that because it was an amazing reimagining of Deeper Deeper which is heavy af to be honest and they made it JAZZ! Unfortunately it was only available for streaming for 24hrs and the sharing of footage is really strict. You're completely right in your point though, it's just that these guys refuse to be limited; that whole live especially emphasised their desire and ability to mix things up with their songs - which when they've been playing some for 10 years makes complete sense they'd like to remix them to make them exciting to play again. There was an almost reggae version of one of their songs too, the 'rock' in the band name was never to restrict themselves. They had a lot of other musicians with them for that concert which thanks to their success and popularity makes it a lot easier to achieve their visions too, I won't dismiss that, but they need to be willing to experiment for getting these other musicians involved to be worth it. (And they definitely know how much more there is to percussion than just drums). I'm loving these videos so much, I'm so glad you're enjoying discovering OOR.
