Gotta say I love a lot of the newer stuff myself. Love the songs "Best Shot" "Beautiful Crazy" and "Greatest Love Story" to name a few. As far as bittersweet, "Break up in the End" is an absolutely amazing song that conveys such a feeling of joy at having been in a relationship, but also a feeling of heartbreak that it's now over.
I think Beautiful Crazy is a way to lovingly reinforce the BS stereotype that women are crazy... Like, it's fine cause that's what he wants and who he loves, but it's such a nasty term used for women and the way he croons can make you overlook that fact.
Dolly and Kenny are just iconic! And "I Will Always Love You" is such a beautiful and sweet song and it was my first thought, too and then it was Willie Nelson's version of "Always on my Mind". Hey Grady, Thanks for shouting out Alan Jackson's Remember When in this video. It's literally my favorite country song of all time and as a 40 year old who's been married to the same guy since I was 19, it has deep meaning to me. I look forward to those older days and yet those younger days still seem so close. I don't think Alan gets enough credit for the impact that story telling has in the song.

We Danced by Brad Paisley was one of the first country songs that I ever heard (not a lot of country growing up in Mexico) and it made me fall in love with country music, it's also one of the most romantic songs I've ever heard!
I think Brad Paisley's "She's Everything" or "Then" are 2 really good love songs that should be in a top 10. Surprised no Conway Twitty made the list too, he's one that's known for making some "hot" songs haha. Oh and Alabama had a couple classic love songs.
Most of Alabama's songs are about sex, though, not love. I didn't realize how raunchy some of their lyrics were until recently.
Okay Grady, now I actually had a chance to watch the whole video.... DUDE!!! Ever since I found your channel I liked the music you picked. I grew up in the 80/90’s with my dad playing lead guitar in a cover band. And man do your lists ever take me back to being a kid again. Friday/Saturday nights at a dance haul, fire company or carnival in the summer time. It was truly the best time for country music. So glad that someone else thinks those are the greatest songs of all times.

I’m so happy that you chose Alison Krauss as your number one! Her version of that song made a huge impact on me from a young age. Made me fall in love with her as an artist.
